President Donald Trump has arrived at Blenheim Palace in grand style ahead of a gala dinner with US and UK business leaders.
He was pictured arriving in Marine One in a tuxedo with First Lady Melania, who is wearing a floor-length, pleated buttercup yellow gown.
Awkwardly grabbing Theresa May hand - in a replay of their White House meeting last year - Trump was treated to a fanfare welcome by the Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards bands.
The president was also given a performance of Amazing Grace featuring a bagpipe solo.
The magnificent English country house, which was built in the early 18th century, was the ancestral seat of Sir Winston Churchill, who was born there in 1874.
President Trump arrived at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is in Oxfordshire, in his helicopter at about 7.50pm tonight before being greeted by Theresa May.
He is expected to be given a tour of Blenheim's grounds by the 12th Duke of Marlborough, Jamie Blandford - also known as Jamie Spencer-Churchill.

She obviously wanted it down played.
She is so giving, caring and loving. Her side trips across the nation have been well received She is so good with children as we saw with the Cruz girls during the primary. They all gravitate to her.
When I think we could have had WJC in the WH it turns my stomach.
I’m afraid PM May is not a very attractive person, at any time. Not that that has anything to do with her character, or lack thereof.
OK. The dress that Melania is wearing is from the ready-to-wear collection. The only couture collection on the web site is from 2016-2017.
I think this particular gown has a classic, vintage look, quite elegant.
I think a great deal of thought and planning goes into what she wears, when and where. Then once it’s decided, and she’s dressed, she doesn’t pay a lot of attention to what she’s wearing.
I noticed in a video clip from yesterday that she looks very comfortable. Comfortable and confident in herself, in who she is and in her current role(s).
I can’t think of a better way to put it than to say that she “carries herself well.”
Usually think of chiffon being delicate and foo-foo. On Malania it’s powerful and elegant. Truly elevating her to static of Greek goddess.
Maybe Aphrodite — the goddess of love is her super star ego! Obviously it’s a look all eyes are attracted to. She’s the belle of the ball. The color is perfectly chosen to stand out from both the background and attire of all others. She’s the sunshine of the trip!
Melania would look great wearing a burlap sack. Nice clothes only enhance what is already there.

Beautiful poetry, hoosiermama. Here's the Wiki entry on Aphrodite of Milos, better known as the Venus de Milo.
A lot of speculation about pics of Mooch where she seems to have a crotch bump. My guess is she has to wear incontinence pads due to persistent urinary tract infection.
I am sure you just gave our Melania her next fashion ensemble sweetest Diana. :)
Our First Lady looked ravishing and dazzling.
I think so too, I have missed our First Lady at POTUS' side.
I am sure it has been unbearable for him.
LOL. No wonder I liked it. I just found a fringed lace dress from their ‘17 RTW that I really liked. 12 grand retail price. I have good taste!
:)
WOW!!!!!!
Pretty dress. On her it looks wonderful. I’d go absolutely buggy wearing something that tight.
What do the feminists know about femininity?
The very pulse of the machine; A Being breathing thoughtful breath, A Traveller between life and death; The reason firm, the temperate will, Endurance, foresight, strength, and skill; A perfect Woman, nobly planned, To warn, to comfort, and command; And yet a Spirit still, and bright With something of angelic light.

Wow, what an amazing photo. Where was that published? I love it!
What a very tasteless choice of photo to have posted on this thread.
