Trump asking “where’s the AG” is akin to Julius Caeasar’s “et tu, Brute?” since Sessions was right there with him throughout the 2016 campaign so Trump rewarded him with the Cabinet job only to get the knife from Sessions in less than 90 days.

Rod Rosenstein is the de facto Attorney General. He is Sessions’ boss.
Maybe someday Trump will start draining the Swamp like he promised.
“President Trump: “Where is the Attorney General?”
Everybody else: “Where is the Attorney General?”
They can’t talk because that might be witness tampering. Meanwhile, Sessions is taking a new look at old cases involving civil rights violations. I wonder if he’s going to look into cases in Boston.
President Trump you hired him and he reports to you. If you don’t like the way he is doing his job, then do something about it instead of whining.
