Belgium has so much nuclear power that they light the roadways like it was daytime using the excess capacity at night. Daytime activities shift the load to business activity. Driving across the border of France/Belgium is like day and night (at night). German autobahn is also dead dark at night. I know from experience traveling on NATO business in the early 90s. Zero interest in do that again.
