Arrest the B!#%H!!!!!
If the Dems were in control of the congress they wouldn’t stand for this refusal. They would haul her before the committee and grill her for hours.
The weak and feckless Pubbies will back off and slink away like they always do.
Do we need to march on DC to stiffen some GOP spines? This is beyond pathetic.
Who is afraid of Congress?
If I got a Subpoena I’d do the same thing.
Use the Sergeant at Arms to arrest her and bring her before Congress.
DAUGHTER OF VALERIE JARRETT...............
Someone please ping me when the cuffs are put on her, please
I believe the Sgt. at Arms has the authority to arrest her.
That may not be helpful in eliciting responses in any congressional testimony.
Pleading the 5th looks bad and she doesn’t want to perjure herself.
It tells me there’s still a lot more yet unknown Lisa Page info and involvement in this conspiracy and coup.
A little off topic, but does anyone know what station(s) will broadcast Strzok’s testimony tomorrow? I need to be away several hours and need to know what channel to DVR.
I don’t blame her with four days to prepare, someone dropped the ball giving her only four days...
Now that she has a timeframe to prepare, if she stalls again, lock her up until she will testify...
She only responds to Strzok’s ‘poenas.
Welcome to Authoritarianism.
Embarrassing.....does anyone have guts to do the right thing anymore and put this impertinent piece of work in jail !
DC Switchboard for your suggestions:
202-224-3121
Millions of calls regarding Ms. Page would be a huge help; add your Strzok, McCabe, Mueller comments to those calls as well.
Let that sink in for a moment ...
well this would be a good time for a US attorney to subpoena her to a Grand Jury, see if she tries skipping out on that...seems it has to be done sooner or later, why not now?
From just an internet search:
Although the Constitution does not expressly authorize Congress to issue subpoenas, the Supreme Court has stated that the authority to subpoena is an "indispensable ingredient" of Congress' legislative power. Eastland v. United States Servicemen's Fund, 421 U.S. 491, 505 (1975).
and...
Contempt of Congress is the act of obstructing the work of the United States Congress or one of its committees . Historically, the bribery of a U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative was considered contempt of Congress. In modern times, contempt of Congress has generally applied to the refusal to comply with a subpoena issued by a Congressional committee or subcommittee usually seeking to compel either testimony or the production of requested documents.
So even though its not a specified power in the constitution, it seems there is some legal precedent for congress to compel testimony. It seems to me that the only reason they should have to compel testimony is because the DoJ is NOT DOING ITS JOB, which would be investigating and charging folks under the law. Sad shape we are in.
I am not surprised, would have been shocked if she showed up.
Yeah, I would send a court enforcement bounty hunter after her......
