This brings the death toll of Christians to more than 6,000 since the start of 2018.
"The Islamists of northern Nigeria seem determined to turn Nigeria into an Islamic Sultanate and replace Liberal Democracy with Sharia as the National Ideology. The object of course, is to supplant the Constitution with Sharia as the source of legislation." National Christian Elders Forum, a wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
The Nigerian government and the international community, however, have from the start done little to address the situation. This lack of participation is not surprising: they cannot even acknowledge its roots, namely, the intolerant ideology of jihad.
In what the Christian Association of Nigeria is calling a "pure genocide," 238 more Christians were killed and churches desecrated by Muslims last week in the west African nation. This brings the death toll of Christians to more than 6,000 since the start of 2018.
According to a joint statement by the Christian Association, an umbrella group of various Christian denominations, "There is no doubt that the sole purpose of these attacks is aimed at ethnic cleansing, land grabbing and forceful ejection of Christian natives from their ancestral land and heritage."
The statement condemned recent attacks, "where over 200 persons were brutally killed and our churches destroyed without any intervention from security agencies in spite of several distress calls made to them."
The statement adds that the majority of those 6,000 Christians massacred this year were "mostly children, women and the aged... What is happening in, Nigeria is pure genocide and must be stopped immediately."
The details of the murder of these thousands, though seldom reported; many were either hacked to death or beheaded with machetes; others were burned alive (in churches/homes); and women are often sexually assaulted or raped before being slaughtered.

It is clearly a case of Islamist butchery. There is no illusion of anything else.
Recent article illustrates that the Nigerian government will not help:
Nigeria to Christian Farmers: We Cant Save You, Surrender Land to Fulani Terrorists
Of course. It’s not Muslims or atheist socialists being persecuted.
And, since it is the Muslims and atheist socialist DOING the persecution, the internal press corpse believes all is OK.
No matter what the Leftist Press believes. It is NOT OK.
The Vatican, and all Christian churches and the governments of the West in general couldn’t care less.
It is Allah’s will, after all.
And that’s THAT.
However if it was the muzzies there’d be a huge hue and cry!
Absolutely NOT OK! Who was it in Clinton’s administration who said it was a shame they didn’t take the massacres in Rwanda seriously and take action then? It may even have been Clinton himself who said it. This may not rise to the level of genocide in Rwanda ~YET~ but how long before it does? How long before the world takes note of it and demands changes? How about we send all the blacks there who groan and moan about our country - the USA - and give them an attitude adjustment.
Recommended book for the blacks in the USA:
“”Nothing in Keith Richburgs long and respected journalistic career at The Washington Post prepared him for what he would encounter as the papers correspondent in Africa.””
International Community Actively Supports Genocide of Christians in Nigeria
Should we invade? Another safe zone? This one for Africa? I’d say this: Give them plot of land watch them thrive. They’ll probably have to build a wall.
Quick! Teach them how to take care of themselves! Oh...we already tried that for quite a few generations. Alright. Send the Army! Uh, well, no. Okay, bring them all up here!
Hmmm. Maybe not.
Not all do, most are not aware, because the media fails to call attention to it.
UN is clearly anti Christian and anti Jewish.
Thanks for the book link. I’d like to think that Clinton regretted anything. I see no evidence. Just talk.
I have been following the marvelous adventures of Hill and Bill since early AR.
Correct, it would be a huge outcry.
“”I have been following the marvelous adventures of Hill and Bill since early AR.””
Same here and I hate myself for it - HA! I bought so many books about them and when we retired and relocated from CA 12 years ago I refused to pack them to move. I didn’t want any of that negativity in our new home. Had a friend who took boxes of them to give to a friend of hers as a joke as they hated them as much as we did..
They are like a disease you can’t get under control. I found a book in the biographical section of the library last week that I checked out and hated myself for it - it’s “Clinton in Exile”. Funny - but it wouldn’t check out on the electronic screen as the other 5 books did that I put on there. A volunteer had to check it out manually and I made a smart remark about “Of course - it’s Clinton - what else would one expect?” She didn’t smile!
