Oh, you mean LA County? Comprised of a little less than 100 cities? Great comparison.

I’ll take my bubble inside what you call a shithole over most people’s real lives. Jealous? Or just hateful? Because your life is so much better than mine apparently. Sheesh

You compared CA with 482 cities and 40 million people to Ohio with 247 cities and 11.66 mil so what’s your beef?

It is so diverse that anyone can find a place to have a good life.

BS...Not too many jobs in the middle of the desert or boonies where a home might still be reasonably priced. And the reason why millions of former CA middle class have bailed out, only to be replaced by foreign nationals with big $$. Those are brutal facts.

Yes, life is tougher for the middle class in California, just like the rest of the country.

Of course, life would be better with lower taxes and fewer regulations. The government in California is horrible and is doing everything to destroy the state.

My point is that despite all their efforts, California is still a great state.

Bull sh*t, that wasn't' your point. Your initial comment/point was,"Anyone can find a place to have a good life" in CA.

That is absolutely false!

Why in hell do ya think millions in middle class CA bailed out over the past few decades?

Everyone certainly is not able to, "Find a place to have a good life" in CA. That is a false statement!

If those two tasks are beyond the amount allowed if limiting water use, then what?

That IS what I said. The law does not prohibit those two activities on the same day. It prohibits the USE of water over a certain amount. We said the same thing. But I am technically accurate. Had they said that it would have been harder to sneak the bill thru.

CA is three and a half times the size of Ohio. It has more than 15 million obese (my factoid). But, more importantly, something close to 10 million illegals, 4 million felons. 35% of the nation’s welfare population live in CA. I see it as a shithole.

In fact, it sounds like you work for the CA Chamber of Commerce. Everyone knows that comment is BS.

For "Everyone to find a place and have a good life in CA" they'd be forced into the deserts or the woods way up north, where good paying jobs are few and far between.

Look at the sky high costs for those living at or near the major population centers where all the job$ are in CA.

Everyone cannot find a place and live the "Good life" in CA as you alleged. Not happening. It's just the opposite.

“The two bills, AB 1668 and SB 606, set general guidelines for water agencies to follow in California’s post-drought era.

Water agencies will be encouraged to have their customers limit indoor water use to an average of 55 gallons a day per person”

Can only go by what’s reported

My wife’s aunt and uncle were teachers in the Cally state system. They own a big house on the coast, travel endlessly, and live like monarchs; all at state expense from their gold plated pensions. Guess how they vote. They think Cally is grand.

The real estate is expense due to supply and demand (please remember Econ 101).

More BS...Ask any realtor who'll dare state the truth. A significant percentage of those buying homes/properties in desirable areas of CA are wealthy foreign national$ because the middle class in CA has all but been priced out of those areas. Especially the young people. This is certainly no secret to anyone.

Encouraged.

Additionally, every region of the state will have an allocation for acres of landscaping and climate.

And those water districts that do not meet the new “legal” guidelines will be fined $1,000 per day.

For the entire district. The LA water district is over 2 million homes.

No individual home will be fined for exceeding any “guideline”. They will just pay their water bill.

Sheesh, the stuff folks will fall for when being led by the emotional confirmation bias is astounding.

“It’s now illegal in California to shower and do laundry on the same day,”

And the Dims said, years ago, keep the conservatives out of our bedrooms. Now they are in the bathrooms.

Sounds like NJ, where serfs maintain the government worker caste. Employers and those workers who could have left; now Wal-Mart greeters have to support teachers pulling down nearly $100K for 180 part-time days of unregulated work.

Dragnet2, you seem a bit angry. As Joe Friday said, just the facts.

If there are foreign nationals buying property that is part of “demand.” What should we do, increase regulation by forbidding foreigners from buying property? There is a reason they buy in California and not in Michigan or Ohio. They expect greater future appreciation.

Real estate prices in California have always been higher than the national average, even when Reagan was governor. My point is that the high prices have nothing to do with the horrible state government, it is a result of economic growth. Yes, you can get property cheaper elsewhere, but the economy in those places is not as dynamic. You can get low cost real estate in Detroit.

I voted for Trump because I know the middle class has been screwed, but high real estate prices are not the fault of the wretched state government. If conservatives were in charge, the real estate prices would be higher since there would be even more jobs. Just the facts.

The moniker is from the definition of the word, not some tv show ya happen to watch. Get it right.

My point is that the high prices have nothing to do with the horrible state government

Ya say sky high real estate prices have nothing to do with corrupt CA state government? Have you told that to the millions who can't afford to live here and or those who've fled the state due sky high taxes, but sky high real estate prices as well? Ya don't think those two are correlated when middle class Americans are trying to buy a home in CA?

In regards to middle class in CA, those two compounded together mean what slick?

Are you stupid or do ya just play the role? I don't mean to be offensive to ya, but you're talking a whole lot of bull s**t here. And you clearly don't give two sh*t holes about the middle class Americans being priced out of the state due to punitive taxes and or sky high property prices. You got yours right?

Is this starting to sink in?

Btw, I always get PO’d when people like you try to put lip stick on a pig. Again you sound as if you work for the CA Chamber of Commerce.

Did ya know the corrupt criminal assholes who run this state don’t want middle class Americans here? They prefer illegal aliens and they’ve made this inordinately clear with their punitive taxes, laws and regulations which are directed right at the middle class. You understand this right?
