CA is three and a half times the size of Ohio. It has more than 15 million obese (my factoid). But, more importantly, something close to 10 million illegals, 4 million felons. 35% of the nation’s welfare population live in CA. I see it as a shithole.
Ohio has the 19th highest adult obesity rate in the nation, according to The State of Obesity: Better Policies for a Healthier America released August 2017.

California comes in at 47.

So, while obesity is found at a higher rate in Ohio, youre right in that in terms of raw numbers, there may be more obese people here than in the Buckeye State.
Now as for your opinion of California, I guess its just that, your opinion. Ive only been to Columbus for a few days around 1983 so I cant say too much about Ohio. I hear parts of Cleveland are pretty rough.
