Twitter has sharply escalated its battle against fake and suspicious accounts, suspending more than 1 million a day in recent months, a major shift to lessen the flow of disinformation on the platform, according to data obtained by The Washington Post.

The rate of account suspensions, which Twitter confirmed to The Post, has more than doubled since October, when the company revealed under congressional pressure how Russia used fake accounts to interfere in the U.S. presidential election. Twitter suspended more than 70 million accounts in May and June, and the pace has continued in July, according to the data.

The aggressive removal of unwanted accounts may result in a rare decline in the number of monthly users in the second quarter, which ended last week, according to a person familiar with the situation who was not authorized to speak. Twitter declined to comment on a possible decline in its user base.

I twittered to John Brennan, “John when you go to jail, would you rather I send you Vaseline or Condoms?”. I was banned from Twitter within Five-Minutes, how is that possible, unless Twitter allows Brennan to not only block people but Ban them entirely for Twitter?

Based on what I’ve seen through third party sites... a LOT of them.

I had my first account up to 4,000 followers when I got bored and strayed off my safe Twitter reservation for a day or two.

That account is suspended & gone now.

I wandered off the safe area today and tweeted to a couple of Lefties about Mark Coleman & Jim Jordan being the same age (both born in 1964) after they were angrily tweeting about how Jordan wasn't protecting these defenseless young men (Coleman was a collegiate heavyweight champion - a "shrinking violet", to be sure).

A HUGE portion of twitter accounts are fakes or bots.
The Soros orgs alone have literally millions of the spam bots.

His group convinced Twitter and FB to throttle “alt-right fake news” accounts and provided lists of users to ban, suspend, shadowban, etc.
