CNN host John King couldn't believe no contestant on the popular trivia show "Jeopardy!" knew the answer to a question about the Russia investigation, wondering Friday what that said about the nation's "focus."
"Only the smartest of the smart get to be on Jeopardy, right?" King asked. "So what does this little exchange last night say about the nation's focus, or lack thereof, on the whole [Robert] Mueller Russia meddling and collusion investigation?"
Two contestants buzzed in and responded incorrectly to the $1,000 clue Thursday night, "In 2017, this ex-National Security Adviser pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI?" One guessed John Kelly; the other guessed Sebastian Gorka.
King said he'd personally bomb on "Jeopardy!" but he knew the answer was Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty last year to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the Russians during the presidential transition. His tenure as National Security Adviser lasted less than a month.
CNN has reported extensively on the sprawling Russia probe led by Mueller, which has delved beyond the question of meddling in the 2016 election and potential Trump campaign collusion, ensnaring several Trump allies besides Flynn. Reporter Maeve Reston said in January "that's all we talk about at CNN, basically."

The Crapulence News Network
No one watches the news...330 million people...maybe 10 million watch the news...
It is the economy stupid
Mueller ? Mueller ? Mueller ? nope never heard of him
They need a category on Climate Change. We could all use a few good laughs.
“CNN shocked nobody paying attention to their fake news.”
Agree. They are so wrapped up in themselves they can’t understand some don’t watch their fakeness much less almost none.
They think of themselves as the leaders, not the latter’s.
Bubble boy is amazed there is a world outside his bubble.
I bet Wolf Blitzer is wishing they wouldn’t bring up Jeopardy.
Nobody would be able to agree if the answers were right or not.
Lol, nobody cares CNN
What is science fiction, Alex?
I wonder if I am the only one to notice that Jeopardy has phrased a lot of questions to push the liberal agenda.
Something like “Wonderful Chelsea Clinton, fighting these horrible people.
Answer, what are Republicans. They had one just the other day that assumed that Jefferson was the Father of Sally Hemmings’ baby.
Yes, there has been a lot of coverage of that story.
The problem is, most viewers don’t know what to believe.
Many of these esteemed reporters have been caught ‘misspeaking’ ,telling lies or half-truths.
Plus, their coverage is blatantly biased to the left.
They are very out & proud about their professional loyalties.
It is not subtle.
I don’t watch Jeopardy. Laura Ingraham comes on at that time.
I don't watch it at all anymore, because it's all pop culture and dancing contestants.
I used to be good at jeopardy. Could answer a lot of questions before the contestants. Then auditioned for Ben Stein’s Money. Made the first cut acing the test. But then auditioned on camera. Didn’t smile enough. They probably didn’t like me saying, well do something funny.
