Numerous conservative leaders back Mike Lee for Supreme Court

------------

Sorry, Mark. But Mia Love is a conservative? Also, Rand Paul wanted Bob Corker for Secretary of State.

Lee thought Cruz was NBC. He’s wrong about a fundamental element of the Constitution. Let him stay in the Senate or become a TV judge.

I’m not a Mike Lee fan, however this last minute push in media seems odd. I would think these folks pushing him would know what a jerk he was to Trump. So why do they think Trumo would pick him or why would Trump want to pick him. Just seems odd to me that you know someone hated the man that can pick you yet you keep pushing him?

Can Lee be confirmed or would Collins and Murkowski vote against him because its obvious he’d vote to overturn Roe?

“Numerous” is subjective.

What about a plethora?

Would you say there was a plethora of conservatives?

No. Having been in the U.S. Senate since the 17th Amendment was ratified makes a person worthless for anything else.

And often worthless, period.

A Mormon on SCOTUS? Hmmm... (okay, okay, I’m kidding. I know Lee is a pretty good guy.)

But hey, we have right now:

1 Episcopalian
3 Jews
5 Roman Catholics

No evangelicals.

Huh.

I thought the Christian right wing “owned” SCOTUS.

Mike Lee is a conservative activist (legislator), not a judge. Same as Cruz. Let’s keep them both in the senate where they can work best for us.

Mike Lee has said numerous times that he has no interest in a Supreme Court Judgeship

Trump should accommodate him

“We need a Supreme Court justice who is not only wise and principled, but brave,”

Principled? OK
Wise? Maybe
Brave???? How so?

We don't have enough of a majority in the Senate to be scavenging senators for other gigs. And I don't buy the argument that Lee's seat is "safe". That's what everyone thought about Sessions' seat, and look what happened.

POTUS needs to leave sitting Reps and Senators alone.

I’m sure Harry Reid would approve.
Their inside source at the Supreme Court is now gone and they need a replacement spy.

Its funny how Pelosi always seemed to know how the Court was going to vote until Kennedy resigned.

No mike lee.
The SCOTUS wasn’t important enough to him in the 2016 election. He was happy to give it to Hillary to stop trump.
He’s not fit for SCOTUS.
