(CNSNews.com) - "Our economic policy can be summed up in three very simple but beautiful but beautiful words," President Donald Trump told a rally in Montana Thursday evening: "Jobs, jobs, jobs," he said.

On Friday, the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics said the economy added 213,000 jobs in June, a strong number; the number of employed Americans, 155,576,000, set its tenth record of the Trump presidency; but the number of unemployed Americans (which includes people who are actively looking for jobs) increased by almost half-a-million. The unemployment rate increased two tenths of a point to 4.0 percent.

In June, the nation’s civilian noninstitutionalized population, consisting of all people age 16 or older who were not in the military or an institution, reached 257,642,000. Of those, 162,140,000 participated in the labor force by either holding a job or actively seeking one.

The 162,140,000 who participated in the labor force equaled 62.9 percent of the 257,642,000 civilian noninstitutionalized population, a slight increase from last month's 62.7 percent.

This is good news but let's not kid ourselves. We have a long way to go to get back to a point where everyone is working. Way too many people have given up or, worse yet, decided that it is OK to live off of government handouts for the rest of their lives. Trump needs to make it a Hell of a lot harder to get and stay on SSI disability, food stamps, Welfare, etc.

Consider the following. Those who got jobs no longer need government support. Thus, the amount of government support needed for those not working is reduced accordingly. But that is a cut in government support for the needy!

ANOTHER TRUMP ADMINISTRATION FAILURE! SLASHING SUPPORT FOR THE NEEDY!

Thanks, but I can’t find anything on there that matches this articles claim and mentioning Trump. I need it for backup as the Dems on facebook are saying this is false.

“Yep. The DNC says it’s RECKLESS! Pretty scary.”

Reckless and dangerous are two trip words the rats used to describe President Reagan’s good plans.

That scared their FDR Depression voters and FDR’s war party voters.

Doesn’t work now as those poor voters are dead and gone except in Philly,NYC, Baltimore, Chicago and LA. They may be dead, but they are still voting democratic.

Back when I was a kid, my first fulltime job, the boss used to tell us, better to work smart, and of course one wag in the breakroom said, we're now working harder and dumber than ever. :^) Our POTUS definitely works hard, maybe he does work harder than any we've had, but mostly I think he's working smart.
