President Trump brings up the “Senator Who Shall Not Be Named” in every rally I’ve seen as the deciding vote on health care. He refuses to state the traitor’s name, but you know who it is. For those new to FR, he has a musical-ornithology nickname that rhymes with “Long Turd.”
Reagan won it in 1984. Mondale only won DC and Minnesota.

Brit Hume just said on Fox that Slick Willie used to do this sort of rally. I sure don't remember anything Slick did that remotely approached a Trump rally. Brit just wanted to take some of the shine off Trump's dynamism at these events.

I drove into Great Falls after 10 p.m. one Saturday night in August 1990. The state fair was winding down, and there were NO motel rooms anywhere. We had to sleep in the car at a convenience store parking lot. The next day we went to the “Great Falls” of the Missouri River. Found a motel the next night in Billings. That was my only trip to MT except for West Yellowstone on a WY trip.
