cott Pruitt's polarizing tenure as head of the Environmental Protection Agency has come to an end.
President Donald Trump tweeted on Thursday that he has accepted Pruitt's resignation.
The departure follows months of scrutiny that gathered momentum following reports that Pruitt had rented a Capitol Hill condominium linked to an energy lobbyist on favorable terms. The revelation exacerbated concerns about the high cost of Pruitt's travel and security detail and triggered a flood of allegations that Pruitt fostered a culture of workplace retaliation, wasteful spending and self-dealing at EPA.

He had to know he was going to be at war with the rank-and-file EPA human garbage from the start. He just didn’t defend himself very well at all.

Who needs Proof when you have Allegations, right?
Yes. The EPA is probably the most vicious place to be. Filled with all the earth hippies enviro-wackos.

D.C. is a tough town - Pruitt was a good pick, this is an opportunity Trump will take to appoint an even better pick.
No Biggie here, just opportunity.
Rick Perry would be a great replacement at EPA, to continue reining in the environuts in its bureaucracy.
Perhaps POTUS 45 should offer the Dept. of Energy position to Joe Manchin; he'd be easily confirmed by the RINO/Jackass Senate.
That’s how I see it too. Next one might be even better. Look at Pompeo replacing Rex.
SUPER BAD NEWS! Bad, bad, bad! Pruitt was doing a fantastic job of DRAINING THE SWAMP! His dismissal is one of the few mistakes Trump has made. Never feed the sharks. Especially never feed them your MOST EFFECTIVE people.
Brace yourself, and expect to see more of their type of behaviour in the future.
Regardless of Pruitt's real motives for resigning, the media will spin it as "the protests are working" and egg people on to do more of the same.

Sounds like in the end he didn’t have the stomach for the fight.
Since perry isconfirmed, maybe he can take the job immediately and lave DOE vacamnt under an interim
