I think it was Mark Simone on twitter today who said that Ed Schultz never really was on the left, he was just playing a role.
I read that Schultz actually died at his home in Detroit Lakes, Mn.
He was an outstanding college QB and started in radio in Fargo.
The backstory on Ed is that he immitated Rush Limbaugh to a T on his Fargo radio program. Then was enticed to swing liberal by big money senators in North and South Dakota....Daschle and Dorgan.
His fortunes rocketed when he joined forces with liberal Air America and then headed to DC.

If what you report is factual, then Schultz was not only a Lefitst but also an opportunist, hypocrite, and dare I say, traitor.
I’ve had a gut feeling this year that Satan is going to claim someone big on the Left, probably before the election. I don’t think Schultz qualifies. I’m thinking more along the lines of Max Maxine stoking out or San Fran Nan buying it from a botox overdose.

Ed Schultz: may he make a fine mulch.
Ed was praising Trump on trade & manufacturing policies and even his softening towards Putin. MSNBC-era Schultz sounded so different from the Schultz of late.
Maybe that is what Olbermann, who is far from failed of course, was referring to when he wrote today “No matter how wildly his politics swung...”
