A good wall with proper deadly force when necessary will suffice.
My guess is that neither Trump nor a single person in Congress is thinking about invading Mexico. Must be a slow news day.

No. build the wall.
Hit Mexico where it hurts. No more remittances from America without proof of citizenship. No more remittances to Mexico period. Restrictions on travel to Mexico. Complete elimination of travel into the US from Mexico. Heavy taxes on goods imported from or manufactured in Mexico.
Build the wall and make it work. Harsh penalties for invaders, coyotes, and employers of illegals. No welfare bennies of any kind without ironclad proof of citizenship. No more anchor babies. Make the US a lot less attractive to invaders.
If that doesn’t work, remember the halls of Montezuma.

But we should go two miles south of the river and build the wall(s) there.

I have a dream. I dream that someday, some of the poor, downtrodden, beleaguered peoples around the world who yearn to breathe free, will lift their eyes from their sorry state, and, seeing the shining city on the hill that is America, will think, “Wow, hey - we could do that here!”.
