With the shock victory of 28-year-old socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over House Democratic Caucus Chairman Joe Crowley — an entrenched liberal who hoped to replace House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., as party leader or even as House speaker some day — Democrats have officially lost control of their own party.
The politically-correct pampering of millennials — everyone gets a trophy, strikes can never be called, laughable “micro-aggressions” are a real thing and must be acknowledged and punished — is finally making itself felt in the political arena, and it's officially driving the Democratic Party to Crazytown.
Like 28-year-old entrenched-liberal-giant-killer Ocasio-Cortez, there are now millions of spoiled, ignorant, "It is all-about-me” Millennial brats out there who not only embraced the socialist battle cry of “Free is for me,” but will now work to crush anyone standing in the way of that ultimately suicidal policy.
With the staggering primary victory of Ocasio-Cortez over party boss Crowley, the winning electoral template for the socialist-left has now been stamped, certified, and will soon be put into action across the country.
Ocasio-Cortez won by preaching free education for all, universal healthcare, the abolition of immigration enforcement, open borders, the end of capitalism, the redistribution of all wealth, the eradication of “hierarchal systems,” liberal drug policies, and forcing business owners to give control of their companies to the “workers.”
It must be stressed that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a proud member of the Democratic Socialists of America, the same group that recently surrounded Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen in a restaurant and forced her — and her security detail — to flee.
This would be the exact same Democratic Socialists of America, which believes the far-left is not nearly radical enough in its anarchistic behavior.

Watched a debate between two Democratic Socialists back in the 90’s. Essentially, we will democratically elect representatives to determine what we need and what we get. And, if we don’t appreciate these things, then the democratically elected ones will ensure our re-education until we do. IOW, pretty much the same thing as the old socialism except we get to vote on those enlightened ones who will impose their will.

Socialism is back? No, it never left. Socialism has been growing in America since FDR. McGovern brought it into the mainstream of the Democratic party. 0bama made it hip and cool to millineals and won over millions of other converts.
I think within 10 to 15 years, America will be a Socialist majority.

Exactly. Statist ideologies have existed in one form or another since nation states were first developed. Modern statist ideologies derived from Marxism starting in the mid 1800s. Marxism, communism, fascism, Nazism, socialism...all are malevolent iterations of statism. They all subjugate the individual to the state. The idea of the rights of the individual gradually evolved out of The Enlightenment period in the 1700s, culminating in the first and greatest triumph of individual rights with the American Revolution. It is what makes the United States of America exceptional.

This can be stopped only if we overhaul our K - college graduate curricula immediately to get rid of the socialist doctrines being taught in the state schools, including the state run universities (as well as the private).

This was a natural outcome of Dem politics, predictable. It’s as predictable as the bias in the news.
There is a huge White Flight from the Democratic Party.
But for the medaling of the DNC in 2016, a socialist would have been the nominee.
The Spaniard Reconquistress Sra. Ocasio-Cortez is one of the best things that could have happened for us.
The Irish Catholic mob that has been vengefully undermining the country for the last 160 years culminating in their despicable, destructive 1965 Immigration Act is now seeing the blowback from their grenades they threw into the body politic.
Their Spanish “bretheren” are not. If they thought that men whose names end in “-ez” would link arms with them and march resolutely to destroy the WASPs they are now enlightened that there is no such solidarity, only racial and ethnic animosity.
Translation: The Spanish (er, “hispanics” as the government calls them now) worry only about themselves, and the white Catholics from the North of Europe are merely useful idiots.
And so it remains to be seen: will the grandchildren of the Kennedy voters simply submit to being underlings to the new rulers?
Or will they decide that the power afforded them by Protestant White America is still preferable?
America hangs in the balance.
