The woman who scaled the Statue of Liberty on Wednesday has been identified.
Cops say Therese Patricia Okoumou — a 44-year-old immigrant from the Democratic Republic of the Congo — was the person responsible for the Fourth of July protest.
She lives in the St. George neighborhood of Staten Island and is currently in federal custody, according to police sources.
Officers from the NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit transported her to a federal detention center on Wednesday night following her three-hour standoff with authorities. Her case is being handled by prosecutors in the Southern District of New York.

Deported individuals will ‘leave’, only to make a U Turn and come back in. They are not burdened by antiquated concepts such as ‘shame, contrition or personal integrity’.

If we were to pull this same kind of sh1t in their countries we would not get the same kid glove treatment they do here.
I no longer use the term “immigrant” except when specifically referring to the legal process of immigration.
The only term I will use now regarding these people is “alien”.
I was at a site in Indonesia and had to go through a class on cultural stuff. No more than 5 people could be in a room at a time in your own apartment. NEVER be alone with a local woman, or any women in your apartment. If driving at the site and the National Anthem starts playing over the loudspeakers - everyone stops and gets out and stands. “Yeah - one time a guy just sat in his car. The MP motioned to him to roll down his window. Then the MP laid him out with the butt of his rifle.”
Another guy brought in some illegal booze. Climbed the flag pole and took down the national flag. One of the bigwig company men was able to get there before the MP’s shot him. (Large mine run by industry but also with the government.) The bigwig was able to convince the MP that it “wouldn’t look good” for either party.
I still haven’t read if she is a legal resident, citizen, or illegal alien.
I guess expecting the “press” to report her status is asking too much.
She needs to go back to the Congo. If she is here legally she can have her status changed and be deported- she is a criminal! If she is here illegally get her out ASAP. If she has been given U.S. citizenship it is trickier but there has to be a way. She needs to protest in the Congo.
Someone needs to make a video of violent and disruptive things the lefties are doing...for the audio it needs to be Maxine Waters calling for people to act like this. Campaign ad material for sure.

She must be a citizen. No one working for citizenship would throw is away with a stunt like this. Ruin the day for hundreds of people, some who certainly came from long distances.

I've never visited Congo but I have been to several nearby countries.This dame should thank her lucky stars that she's here rather than there.
