How long does it take to drill 1/2 mile down?
Since a diver made it into the cave, how difficult is it to extract the kids one at a time via the same route the diver came in?

Cave diving should be left to experts. The best they can hope for is to train the kids for full head scuba gear and take them out one at a time as if they were a package.
