Amber Heard faced massive backlash on Twitter when she tried to warn neighbors of a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement checkpoint near her home.
“Just heard there’s an ICE checkpoint in hollywood, a few blocks from where I live. Everyone better give their housekeepers, nannies and landscapers a ride home tonight…,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet.
Twitter users were swift to call her out.

“hi, amber. i love you so much so i’m gonna say this to you: not all immigrants are housekeepers, nannies and landscapers (not that there’s anything wrong with being one) but this stereotype should have long been eradicated,” posted another.
Heard didn’t apologize for her original tweet but instead followed up with another one about immigration checkpoints.
“Checkpoints on your home streets…. Is this the ‘great’ America we’re aiming for? Raids, fences and police-state like checkpoints don’t feel like the ‘land of the free’ our immigrant ancestors built.”
After deleting her initial tweet, Heard posted a photo of a child and wrote, “With this human rights crisis being so politicized, it is hard to make a simple statement w/out it being used to distract from the real issues. Its hard for everyone to not be negatively affected by this subject n some way.”
A rep for Heard didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Absolutely wrong. Active LE actions are not 1st Amendment issues. Obstructing justice is a crime.

So Meganc, you are Ok to warn other criminals that the cops are watching checkpoints then? You have a screwed up interpretation of the 1A...
Nah. She's moved on and taken what she could from him. Last actual relationship she was in was with Elon Musk, and that too has ended. She's basically a sucker magnet. She was lesbian, then had an epiphany when she met Depp. There was money to be whored had.
But what I do know is that she talks about these people as immigrants and that "our" ancestors were immigrants, while she fails to acknowledge that these people ICE is going after are illegal border jumpers or crossers or who don't have any legal right to be here. People who jump to the front of the line and sneak over the fence. They're not immigrants. For the most part our ancestors were legal immigrants, not cheaters.
Another thing I know from her comments is that she immediately reveals her own true bigotry by stereotyping theses folks as domestic helpers. Nothing wrong with that kind of work, but why are she and her neighbors hiring illegals when they could be employing legal citizens instead? If they can afford hired help, they can afford to hire legal help. They are part of the problem.
And the last thing I know of her foiled attempt to warn her neighbors and their illegals to avoid the ICE checkpoint, was that she was publicly interfering with a federal law enforcement operation. Seems like there has to be a law making this a crime. The DOJ should have gone after that Oakland mayor who interfered last spring and they should at least pay this lady a visit put her on notice. These operations around the country cost the taxpayers a lot of money.
Otherwise, I don't really care that this woman self-exposes her own liberal hypocrisy or takes sides against America on this issue. This is why I avoid contact with liberals at all costs. The drama is too much for my ticker. :-)
Boys and girls, how about we have some fun with this? We pick a few well to do areas and put out the warning every day that ICE is coming in to check ID’s of nannies and landscapers. 2 or 3 weeks if no lawn service and changing their kids diapers themselves might teach a few libs a lesson.

It has been ruled that warning of sobriety checkpoints or radar traps is fully covered under the 1st Amendment, and thus not illegal.
How is an ICE checkpoint different?
I agree that warning lawbreakers of impending raids when warrants have been sworn and police are on the way could be considered obstruction of justice, but where is the line drawn?
Wherever it's drawn, I still want the illegals gone.

Warning other people of law enforcement activities that are taking place in public is a protected First Amendment right.

Further, video recording law enforcement at a checkpoint and live streaming that news coverage is also a protected First Amendment right.
If you live in a Constitutional Carry state then you can also be armed to the teeth while you do this. That’s also a protected right.
Check points are not warrants (which are specific to a person and place).
Looks like Amber Heard has a pretty decent grasp of the obvious so far as the facts of Hollywood employing illegals goes.
Maybe ICE needs to go speak to her and ask her what she knows. Nothing illegal in them politely talking to her.
