Over 40 offices in the House of Representatives may have fallen victim to an “IT security violation,” according to a secret memo from top congressional law enforcement to the Committee on House Administration.
The memo, written in part by Paul Irving, the House’s sergeant at arms, detailed the disappearance of a server for the House Democratic Caucus following its marking as evidence in a cybersecurity probe. Imran Awan, email server administrator to former DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and members of his family had logged into the server more than 7,000 times between 2015 and 2016 without proper authorization.
Since then, the memo alleges, the caucus server holding emails from lawmakers has been replaced by a lookalike, but the original is gone.
An official with ties to the Committee on House Administration told the Daily Caller News Foundation — which reviewed and transcribed the February 2017 memo — that the replacement of the caucus server was clear evidence of a breach.
“[The Awans] deliberately turned over a fake server to falsify evidence,” they said, noting that the data itself was “completely out of [members’] possession.” Irving said in the memo that the Pakistani Awan group was “an ongoing and serious risk to the House of Representatives, possibly threatening the integrity of our information systems and thereby members’ capacity to serve constituents.”
Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, who has had a hand in the case for some time, called for action from intelligence officials on the matter.
“We need someone assigned to the Awan case that will protect Congress from further breaches and from the Awan crime family,” Gohmert said. “For heaven’s sake, we need someone in the FBI to step up and do their job.”
Playing out like a real spy novel/movie, except it’s real! In the movies, the culprits would be dead or in jail. Hope Gohmert goes full on to capture and prosecute the traitors!
A Strange Tale: the Congressional Federal Credit Union and House Democrats’ IT spies

Bank fraud was the stated charge on which Debbie Wassermann Schultz’s IT aide, Imran Awan, was arrested at Dulles Airport, as he was fleeing the United States for Pakistan, via Qatar.......the same route taken by his wife, Hina Alvi, in March, when she suddenly fled, with $12,400 in cash (NOTE: it is against the law to take more than $10,000 out of the US without declaring it.).
By the time of Imran’s arrest, the proceeds of his fraudulent $165,000 “loan” from the Congressional Federal Credit Union had been wired to Pakistan.... part of a $283,000 transfer that Awan managed to wire from Capitol Hill.
The conniving Imran pulled it off by pretending to be his wife in a phone call to Capitol Hill’s true believers-—the Congressional Federal Credit Union. Told that his proffered reason for the transfer (“funeral arrangements”) wouldn’t fly, “Mrs.” Awan promptly regrouped: Now “she” was “buying property.”
Asking no more questions, the compliant Congressional Federal Credit Union wired the money......to Pakistan. One assumes the trusting Congressional Federal Credit Union had every expectation of getting repaid (cue laugh machine here).

How the heck could the feds have exonerate Imran Awan in less than a year of "their" investigation when the evidence with other LEOs, over a longer period of time, seems overwhelming?

Funny how this explosive scandal is being reported like it was just discovered this week.
The problem is not only the for sale sign. It’s the fact that names, dates, places of military operations, of our own spies, the reports to the Gang of Eight, all of the most confidential, critical secrets are exposed. Obviously with the previous President’s tacit approval since he allowed HRC to hand government secrets over to Huma Abedin, one of many whose loyalty to our government is unknown.
The even greater problem, as Trump called it “a real mess”, is can his administration stem the bleeding, rebuild our secret services with honorable people, etc. It’s quite possible that if it can be turned around, some of the guilty will get away with it. Can his administration both spend its time and money looking backwards at corruption as well as focusing on cutting taxes, regulations, rebuilding the military, the courts, our standing in the eyes of our own people as well as the world’s?
