Ponce will compete in Miss Universe 2018 later this year
Angela Ponce has become the first transgender woman to win Miss Universe Spain.
Ponce, 26, bested 22 other competitors to be crowned at the finale in Tarragona. Her win comes six years after the competition ended a ban on trans contestants, after previously requiring all contestants be “naturally born” women.

Whole societies have, at times, gone into hysteria. Whether it’s people imagining UFO’s or men being women...it’ll pass. And, at some time when everybody is sane again, there will be a lot of embarrassed people. But this whole men imagining they’re women is too stupid to last another fifty years. Surely something important will come along and we’ll all have to focus on that. Right now, people have WAY too much time on their hands.

There is one side, the ones who say XX is a woman and XY is a man - those are being called bigoted, hateful, exclusionary - you know, the usual degrading rhetoric - that exclude the fake women.
The other side is shamed by those who do embrace those with the mental illness, accepting the delusion that these men are women and enable the behaviors to pass as such, including and up to surgery.
Eventually, the ones who stay in the delusion are still suicidal years later because they can't ever become "a real woman" - since women's bodies are so dang complex.It's not like taking estrogen and wearing women's clothes make a woman.
The rhetoric hurts those girls who do have to compete in events such as these, or sports, against those who have additional benefits, or advantages.
These non-men are hoisting women on their own petard and women are gladly embracing it - well, some are.
Either way these people need help and mental intervention instead of enabling their delusion.
I want off this planet. The entire world has gone absolutely bat***t insane. I am beginning to understand why people “snap”.
I broke the FR tradition of not reading the article and wasn’t surprised to see Gloria Allred’s name. I would be permanently banned from FR if I posted my true feelings about that shyster.
I also wasn’t surprised to see the obligatory swipe at Trump.
So the Left celebrates that a man pretending to be a woman makes a better woman than all the real women participating. And we are the ones constantly called anti-women. I guess their reasoning is too nuanced for me to understand.
I might believe they would cheer this travesty in Greece or Turkey, but Spain? The world must be spinning out of control.
It’s a very simple answer. GOD created Man and Woman, shyster psychologists, psychiatrists and other ‘mental healthcare’ so called experts along with queers come up with the imaginary sexes. Leave it to GOD.
Probably the same way that HS girl's team felt when a male, deciding he was a female, competed against them and won all the events.
I am waiting for the Olympics to decide they are going to jump on this crazy train, and then, goodbye to actual Women's competitions.
