His highest support is among enlisted, significantly lower among officers. His highest support is in the USMC, lowest in the Navy. His highest support is among combat forces, lowest in non-deploying administrative and support elements.

One must understand where MM is coming from when trying to understand how someone could say something so stupid. MM is correct about one thing, the mid to senior level officer corps is home a majority of progressives, I know this because I’ve been working with military officers for over two decades as a civilian contractor for the Navy, and there’s no doubt that during the Clinton and Obama admins officers were promoted by their political reliability to enforce progressive social policies on the military. Also MM believes the enlisted ranks are filled with brain washed morons who have been trained to follow orders blindly, I know this because he’s said so. So he believes if officers order their men to attack American Citizens, they will. And that’s where he’s totally incorrect.
Have no fear. I have a step son in the Army since 2009 and two son in the USMC. There is not a chance that the grunts are going against their CiC so long as he goes with the Constitution of the Republic.

I know an active duty sailor in the Navy and he said Trump supporters were a minority on board his aircraft carrier.
