Local residents in Venezuela staged further protests on Monday as the failed socialist country now appears to be running out of clean water. Multiple groups of demonstrators blocked highways around the capital of Caracas to protest the lack of clean water supplies.
On the Avenida Baralt in central Caracas, protesters complained that they had not received water for two days and, as a result, were forced to use stagnant water, exposing them to infectious diseases.
At 7:05 am we are in Santa Teresa area of Glorieta protesting for water. #CaracasWantsWater, wrote local councilor Jesús Armas on Twitter. The residents of Santa Teresa are raising their voice and exercising their rights, the only way to pressure @HIDROCAPITALca to do their jobs is to activate as citizens.

Well, for one thing, electricity delivery is sporadic with rolling blackouts. Some customers are going without electricity for days at a time.
Commies don’t get logistics and supply chain management.
They really don’t understand OM. In fact, the truth be known
they really have no idea how the real world works.
By not maintaining and repairing equipment. Same with their dam, they have most of their electricity coming from a hydroelectric plant on a huge fan, which they rarely maintain. Maybe this year they will lose oil production, electricity and water.
Why does everyone keep saying that they have the largest oil reserves in the world?
Government folks have plenty of water.
Now you know how socialism really works.

And each has a cost. As society collapses, the costs go up as fuel and/or electricity becomes more expensive due to inflation. Eventually the funding provided to keep these basic services in place is not enough. Then the system begins to break down.
It’s why they stopped importing toilet paper - you don’t eat you don’t need TP.
Got a supplier for halazone or do you make your own? Point is that even those tablets cost. Even boiling water costs (fuel and time).
It does read like “Atlas Shrugged”.
Maybe President Trump can make the liberal’s heads explode by offering to the citizens of Venezuela that if they over throw their government, the US will step in, make them a Territory and start running things.
Even without a Second Amendment, why have these people not overthrown their government?
The people who voted for Chavez and Maduro deserve what they get. They are criminal co-conspirators.
But people who did not vote for them at all, and voted against them, are victims for whom I have deep sympathy.
Democracy sucks.
Sounds like the old joke, if Saudi Arabia did socialism they would soon run out of sand.
The Cubans control their military.
Anybody capable of setting up an overthrow has left the country.

Iran won’t be sending them any.
