Every 13 years, just like clockwork, Dick Durbin opens his yap to insult the people keeping America safe . . .
In 2005, Sen. Durbin took to the floor of the Senate to accuse the US military of acting like “Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime: Pol Pot or others” in its treatment of Gitmo prisoners. That earned Durbin the enduring sobriquet of “Dick Turban” from Rush Limbaugh.
Durbin was back at it over the weekend. This time, the subject of his slander was ICE. Calling for its abolition, Durbin said:
“Look at ICE. What a group of incompetents!”
On this morning’s Fox & Friends, Frederick County, MD Sheriff Chuck Jenkins, who has been fighting MS-13 in his community, condemned Durbin:

The Senate Armed Services Committee chairman yesterday accused Sen. Richard J. Durbin of insulting American soldiers with a “grievous error in judgment” by comparing U.S. treatment of al Qaeda suspects to the crimes of Adolf Hitler, Josef Stalin and Pol Pot, and demanded that the Senate’s No. 2 Democrat apologize.
The rebuke followed a similar rebuke by the commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, who called Mr. Durbin “totally out of line.”
Republican lawmakers lined up to condemn the remarks as making the war on terror more dangerous for American troops.
Some were particularly angry about the Al Jazeera Arab-language news station, which had posted Mr. Durbin’s Nazi comparison made in a Tuesday night floor speech.
“That’s horrible. That’s our worst nightmare,” said Sen. John Cornyn, Texas Republican, about the posting by the network, which the administration accuses of stirring up anti-Americanism.

My first thought was .... just a few weeks ago I was being lectured through the media / dumbocrats that to question Mueller, the CIA and the FBI and what they do ... that is unpatriotic. Now I see . . .attacking ICE ... that is patriotic.

It is a complete mystery why the people of Illinois keep reelecting this anti-american idiot. He has done nothing in the Senate except obstruct. The only time he is on TV in Chicago is making a speech at a left wing protest rally. Turbin Durbin is so ineffective you can’t even call him a leader of the Democrat party in Illinois.

There is a simple problem with the abolishment idea. All of the laws that ICE enforces...don’t get abolished, and they would continue on.
So you’d go and likely create a whole new government agency, and sooner or later, they would discover that there are laws already on the books...which they need to enforce, so the ICE version 2.0 would reach that stage....enforce the laws, and trigger the idiots to form another abolishment.
Perhaps the suggestion here is to dump all of the laws that are in this category, along with the IRS laws, and thus write 80,000 pages of federal law out of existence. I might actually be willing to listen to this conversation of just dump tens of thousands of pages of federal guidelines.
It must be an Ill-Annoy bodily-function thing (my sorry state provided two village idiots to the Senate). Turban excretes feces from his pie-hole from the Senate floor while Duckworthless brags about lactation while in the Senate chambers. So sorry. “Clean up in the left aisle!”
I am all for reviewing existing laws and regulations and making changes, which could include shutting down an agency should the need no longer be there. We know this is not what the leftists are after, nor would there be any good faith on their part to consider the change or elimination of other agencies.
When there is no significant consensus that illegal immigration is wrong, violation of the rule of law is wrong, that differences of opinion on the subject are not racist, ...nothing can be negotiated with such people. I go back to 1986 and see that everyone was told the Reagan amnesty was a one time event. Yet here we are... what was gained in dealing with these people? The bottom line is that their ideas if implemented, like amnesty 1986, are not good for this country. America is changing more rapidly before your eyes.
Dickie Turban may be a complete ass, but it doesn’t say much for the people of Illinois (dead or alive) who keep electing him.
