Ducey has not said that. What he has done is sidestep the question. At first they put out that he would not nominate anyone who had expressed interest in the seat. Now his rep that attends our county Republican meetings say the Governor’s position is that there is no vacancy so there is no one under consideration.
I think we can agree the replacement should NOT be:
Any McCain, anyone related to a McCain
Grant Woods(GAG I just threw up in my mouth)
Martha McSally, more RINO than conservative

A McCain promise is like a Campaign promise. Here today, gone tomorrow. Team Death and its family always have sinister plans. The Party sure needed his vote on Death Care. Where was Team Death then ?
Why not bring Kelli and McSally into a room and sit down with them and say, “one of you will be appointed and one of you will have to run for Flake’s seat. The one picked will campaign like hell for the other one. I don’t care which one of you is which, I just want to keep both seats. So which of you would be more likely to win in November, and which of you wants to run again in 2020? Can you figure it out between the two of you? Or do I have to find someone else?”

I am dubious that the Governor would inflict someone’s wife as a United States Senator on the people of his state without enormous voter back lash. . Who the hell is “cindy McCain”. Give me a list of her qualification beyond being married to Songbird. This story has to be fake except that Songbird is resigning. Surely Songbird has the small vestige of honor enough to resign for the good of the people of his state. AND THE NATION!!
