There have been many stories of late about Americans having news fatigue, tuning out news, etc.
No one pays attention to these liberal mass tantrums anymore outside of the press. They happen all the time (and only when a Republican is in the White House) and I think the average person just shrugs and goes about their day.

Angela Davis (leader of the "Women's March") reveals she is a Communist. The Communist who organized the Dakota Pipeline protest (which caused such a huge mess) is
Judith LeBlanc. The vast majority of the protest crowd are what Communists call "useful idiots" - their name for people who fall prey to Communist propaganda.
Without American Communists and liberal news media there would be few protests in America. Again, it's not hard for ordinary people to find this out. It's extremely hard for journalists to figure out, however.

Winning strategy in 2018.
Tell your moderate neighbors, friends, coworkers, and family members not to publicly say or do anything sympathetic to Trump.
Because if they do, the record shows they may be hounded out of the public square - at least out of public restaurants, theaters, schools, hospitals, and jobs owned by some state agencies, media organizations, private corporations, nonprofits, and entertainment sectors.
And the children of moderates? Hardly a day goes by when a liberal is not calling for children of moderates to be kidnapped. And worse.
No, moderates should fear for their lives by the liberal mob. The best thing moderates can do is quake in their boots quietly for the next several months and then go to the polls - by the millions - and privately vote like their lives depend on it.
Put the skeer on 'em. And keep the skeer on 'em.
