Michigan congressional candidate Lena Epstein says a country club cancelled her planned event because of her support of President Donald Trump.
Lena Epstein, who's running for the open seat in Michigan's 11th Congressional District, was supposed to hold a fundraising event at Franklin Hills Country Club in Franklin, Mich., Wednesday night.
Epstein says she got a call last week from a board member telling her that they voted to cancel her event because of her political beliefs.
On "Fox & Friends," Epstein revealed that one of her Democratic opponents in the race recently held an event at the country club.

Methinks perhaps a challenge to the clubs tax-exempt status might be warranted for discrimination?

When I was a kid in the 1950’s, republicans were labeled “country club republicans” and democrats “the working man”.
Today, that has flipped 180.
My brother in law is in the alcohol beverage distribution business. His most hated customer business calls are on country clubs and golf clubs.
Just vote, baby.
And remember, anyone with “D” next to their name is a goose-stepping fasco-communist.

Lena is running in my district. I know folks that know her her ( one of her fellow Trump co-chair’s for 2016 ) yes, she is the real deal. I have yet to meet her, I will keep you posted if I do. FWIW, their is a conservative Temple in the area that one of my Jewish Deplorable friends is a member of, I am sure they would have her with open arms....

Seems like she’s disliked by the Country Club Republicans, as RINOs were known in the days of Wendell Willkie, so if I lived in the district, she’d have my vote.
Remember when people used to use the word “Country Club Republicans?”
May the memberships drop like rocks and this club be so desperate for revenue, they sell the joint in favor of making it a parking lot.

I would guess there are a lot of Trump voters in that country club. I hope they will all resign their memberships. Stupid should hurt, and treason should be fatal. The club needs to die. Perhaps President Trump’s company can then buy the club at auction and make it great again.
The Dem who is running against her was allowed to have his fundraiser there only a few weeks before!
