I have been reading much of what's going on and it started way earlier than three years.
The guy started harassing a woman in 2010 on Facebook as she had attended the same high school. He did so much damage to her she lost a job, had to move to another state and also change her name, so she reported him to the authorities. From there he was sentenced to 90 days suspended, 18 months probation, and had to attend therapy.
The local paper reported on that criminal case so this maniac tried to sue them for defamation where the judge dismissed with prejudice. He then wanted payback.
This murderer has been totally off the rails for a minimum of eight years and local press seems to have found where about two or three years ago that poor woman he harassed told the police that they needed to worry because he was going to be their next mass murderer. They obviously didn't listen to her. Typical liberal area.

Terrible, and but for teh wonderful Anne Arundel County Police, it might hve been even worse.
Anne Arundel County Executive Steve Schuh, who is excellent, is getting a lot of face time. Governor Hogan is term limited and cannot run for re-election after this coming term.
