MSNBCs Steve Schmidtwho recently left the Republican partydecried the Supreme Court decision upholding President Trumps travel ban.
Nicolle Wallace talked with her panel about the SCOTUS decision, looking back at how we got from the originally-proposed Muslim ban to here.
She said, I remember people in the intelligence community saying to me, Who do you think we rely on the most in the countries that could represent the greatest geopolitical threats from us?'
Former FBI assistant director for counterintelligence Frank Figliuzzi said that today we became a little bit less of that shining city on a hill into a country thats now closed to people not like us.
You cannot separate the policy thats been carried out at the border, Wallace added, from the Presidents celebration from what Steve Bannon described as travel ban vindication.'
Schmidt said that today was a fantastic fulfillment of Osama bin Ladens vision by Donald J. Trump.
He elaborated:
What Osama bin Laden hoped to provoke was a war of civilization. A war between the West and one billion Muslims. And so what Donald Trump and this Muslim ban signal to the world is that Muslims are not welcome here, that this iswhether the conservative justices say in fact this is about executive powerthe Presidents clear intent was to impose a religious test, and that is as fundamentally un-American as anything that hes done over the course of this presidency.
He said moderate Islam is a key force in helping defeat extremist Islamic radicalism and today was a step in the wrong direction on that.
Watch above, via MSNBC.
Someone needs Cheese
This guy needs to have the **** kicked out of him.
Cant really tell what @$$holes these scum really are because their heads are crammed so far up there.
Hey Steve, when was the last time you were in Mecca?
Thought so...
Steve Schmidt is responsible for his own stupidity.
Oh. I see. Trump how now moved from being the same as Hitler.
To being the same as Osama bin Laden.
How utterly droll. Do these liberal idiots think they’re clever?
Ah! Now we know the American who carries OBL’s vision: Steve Schmidt!
Don’t even argue with the idiots anymore. Just tell them they reserve the right to be wrong and they are.
Yep, and if we kill the terrorists, the terrorists win. / Justin
Moved his cloud server over to the ChiComs if I’m not mistaken.
The United States Constitution and the Koran are mutually exclusive.
Muslims don’t believe in our system of government. Why would we welcome them to move here?
........” Do these liberal idiots think theyre clever?”
One of the things about liberals I learned early on as a child was just how clever they believe themselves to be. In the eyes of the liberal cleverness is theirs alone. Nobody can discern just how clever they are.
The fact being of course the liberal is so damned transparent even a child can see through their so-called cleverness.
And exactly what was lord McCain's purpose in being the commander-in-chief of ISIL? How many 'Christians' were slaughtered in their blood letting?
Mr. Osama, he dead.
The slave labor addicts — and their paid media and political whores — just can’t give it up
For those who do not see the threat.. they are blind and not willing to see anything but what they want to see.
The majority of the muslims who come here, are not here to assimilate... too many of them want to set up their own “area”.. their own government and their own “religion”.
Everything they bring with them has to be unlearned ... they must adopt our country... not change it. Their ways.. their beliefs... are not compatible with ours. .. and never will be.
Schmidts buddy, the Hanoi Rose knows as MCCain, was once a great friend of Bin Ladens and the founder of Isis.
Schmidt spent 6 months licking the bare asshole of Obozzo in 2008.
How does asshole taste Schmidt ? You pathetic beta male
