Too bad he suffered damage to his chiropractic office. Maybe he can get it straightened out.
You see it all the time. It’s only taxpayer money, so the local gov’ts settle and pay up, even though the cases have no merit.
Sounds like this has caused him a serious hitch in his get-along.

What he did seemed professional and he evidently had some consultation favorable with his actions.
Ok, I am confused. What did the school district want the Principal to do? He contacted the Police and followed the instructions of the Police Officer at the location.

I recall decades ago, many people had a very low opinion of Chiroprators. Maybe because they were largely unregulated at the time.
Public schools in New Jersey often seem to be run like a combination of the Soprano’s trash business and their men’s club. I can’t imagine how students manage to get education.
I would countersue on grounds of frivolous lawsuit after rightful suspension for violating established legal laws, and school zero tolerance policies. The distress and harm is all self-nflicted by his own actions.
Would also sue for legal fees.
So what did they do wrong? Both officials who found the MJ and knife were suspended after they contacted authorities and, apparently, followed instructions. Either there is more to the incident or they were not supposed to report the incident at all.
