Schumer: ‘Not American’ to call for harassment of political opponents (tells Mad Maxine to shaddap)

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday said calls for opponents of the Trump administration to publicly harass Cabinet members are “not American,” arguing Democrats should focus their energy on winning elections.

“I strongly disagree with those who advocate harassing folks if they don't agree with you. ... No one should call for the harassment of political opponents. That's not right. That's not American,” Schumer said from the Senate floor.

Schumer added that he understands the “frustrations” some members of his party feel when Trump “complains about bullying [and] harassment” even though the president uses it “as a regular tool almost every day.”

“But the president’s tactics and behavior should never be emulated. It should be repudiated by organized, well-informed and passionate advocacy. As Michelle Obama, a person who represents the same kind of fineness that we’ve always had in America ... said, ‘When they go low, we go high,’” Schumer said.

Sounds like Schumer finally woke up to the damage Hillary, Fauxahontus, MaxineMouth, Nancy-crumbs, etc., are doing. They cannot walk this stuff back, and per the latest polls, it is actually helping, rather than hurting, Trump.

It’s also “not American” for legislators to

* tell the president to take care of an issue himself (with a pen)

* then complain about how the president dealt with it

* then still refuse to talk about the issue and demand the president fix again it himself

And it’s almost funny when that same legislator has voiced concern about that same president acting like a dictator. It’s safe to say Schumer doesn’t know what it means to be an American (or at least he pretends not to know which is pretty much the same thing when he is supposedly a representative of the people but acts un-American).
