Trump Unloads On The Red Hen
Donald Trump Twitter ^ | June 25, 2018 | Donald Trump

The Red Hen Restaurant should focus more on cleaning its filthy canopies, doors and windows (badly needs a paint job) rather than refusing to serve a fine person like Sarah Huckabee Sanders. I always had a rule, if a restaurant is dirty on the outside, it is dirty on the inside!

Why do you agree they have every right to deny service due to nothing more than a person’s political beliefs, especially if the person is not at that time in their establishment being political? This is person from a major political party not a neo-nazi party.

The owner’s restaurant resides within a conservative Trump county.

The Civil Rghts Act that the democrats filubustered and tried to defeat...

I didn’t see the need for him to weigh in on this when they were getting plenty of blowback. The story will become about him going after a small business rather than them.

And to me that is one valid reason to ask someone to leave a business, you can only use the rest rooms if you’re a paying customer.

They are taking it on the chin pretty good, now the focus will be on the tweet.

Of course, under the last administration, the IRS would have already started an audit.

So they have the legal right to refuse service?

Are you old enough to remember Lester Maddox? He thought he had the legal right to refuse service. The courts saw it differently back in 1964.

This Twitter post by President Bush was very deliberate and focused.

He posted it in response to the idiocy on CNN this morning where NYT reporter Maggie Haberman claimed it was "dangerous" for Sarah Huckabee Sanders to post a Twitter message about getting kicked out of the restaurant.

Trump's response was: "Dangerous? I'll show you a Twitter post that will make hers look like a 5-star endorsement of that restaurant."

LMAO.

Dude, he’s trolling. He is the master troll. It’s the first thing I learned to love about the guy after the inauguration. Seriously.

While I don’t like what the owner did, they took Sarah aside and quietly asked her to leave. This is just like the baker and the cake. If the employee had not brought it to the media’s attention, it would not be news.

Here's an idea. If the owner treated Sarah like a human being instead kicking her to the curb like a dog of a dog in a cheap attempt at virtue signaling, it would not be news.

Imagine a world where conservatives are denied a seat in restaurants, kicked out of barber shops, denied a right to buy groceries, kicked out of a hospital. Sound ok to you? It doesn't to me. This behavior deserves a huge callout.

The Won called out the entire city of cambridge police department to kick off cops acting improperly. Who can forget the beer summit?

I disagree, POTUS owns many successful high-class restaurants, he’s an expert on restaurant conditions in general. He’s right—the Red Hen is shabby and dirty, they need to clean things up in more ways than one.

“IF a conservative business did do this, though, would you want Obama calling them out personally?”

Conservation Restaurant Owners didn't give Oddunga the opportunity. Here is one for you.

“The police officer acted stupidly”

Ring a bell? See the connection? If not all I can say is.

I don’t compare it to the baker and the cake. The baker was willing to serve gay customers. He just didn’t want to do a particular ceremony - a gay wedding. To equivocate, the restaurant should serve Sarah but would be justified in saying they won’t cater or host an event for the White House.

People like the OP are not real conservatives, but a part of the pro globalist cabal and don’t fight back because they agree with the leftist dribble. Low key agree.

Why do you agree they have every right to deny service due to nothing more than a person’s political beliefs ...

Because they own the business establishment.

I'm a business owner myself, and I'll serve any clients I damn well please. Why wouldn't I recognize the exact same right to conduct business accordingly for any other business owner?

It would have been better for the POTUS not to say anything.
The market will determine how this should be addressed and ALL the businesses in Lexington will suffer for it.

With this tweet, Trump made it about him and his reaction to the incident.
I can see defending your people, but attacking a small minded individual who really has no power is beneath the office.
