GOP Congressman Warns Nation Headed to Civil War

Rep. Steve King posted a warning on Twitter Sunday evening that the U.S. is heading toward a second civil war, comparing the present day actions of the anti-Trump resistance to the run-up to the Civil War.

King, an eight-term Congressman from Iowa, keyed off a PJ Media article about leftist protesters shutting down a Portland, Oregon ICE office and taking down the U.S. flag, replacing with an “Refugees Welcome” flag.

"This seems more like a major failure of law enforcement than CW2 to me. Are you seriously telling me that its completely legal for these snowflakes to lay down in the road and shut down an ICE office? Its legal to stalk and harass and verbally assault people whenever you feel like it? Where are the arrests???"

After recalling from some training and work in my past that involved learning about how some things work in judicial circles, it appears to be more likely one case of judicial noncompliance of many in recent years. Judicial people know what to do, but it looks like many of them (though not all) have been refusing to do it increasingly often for some time.

Disturbingly, though, that's the sort of rebellion against our U.S. system of rights that can eventually develop into terrible civil strife. Hopefully, our federal judicial people will get their internal matters of rebellion settled properly soon and solve some of the problems with rebellion in the states.

Some of them are amazing and wonderful people. Others, well, they haven't been making a few of them like they used to.

Even the senior citizen condo complex where I live wouldn't be safe for them. In our cul-de-sac there are 5 out of 10 homes with older vets who wouldn't hesitate to kill another Commie.

Look up the Socialist Rifle Association (SRA) and view their U-tube videos. To say they’re aren’t armed is incorrect. Are they “well armed?” No! Their “practice” seems to consist of rapid “mag dumps.” They’re armed all right, but they’re also the enemy a rifleman hopes to encounter.

The poorest are the most likely to obese and have smart phones. We haven’t had even 65% eligible voter turnout for even presidential elections for 100+ years, most of the time it has been way less. There was no organized violence or even substantial non-violent civil disruption when legal murder of unborn people was imposed on all 50 states in 1973 and the WWII generation was still fairly active. I doubt anything major or lasting is likely to go down in 2018 over much of anything except gun confiscation, maybe.

Absolutely. Whatever 5D chess some think Sessions is playing, his inaction is already leaving behind ruined lives and emboldening Leftists to seize even more of the culture and to employ unanswered violence.
