The Red Hen, a farm-to-table restaurant in the Shenandoah Valley, has been flooded with mostly one- and five-star Yelp reviews after White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted that the owner had asked her to leave Friday night because she works for President Donald Trump...
"Despicable and outlandish behavior. The only thing served here
if they agree to serve you ... is a heaping plate of arrogance and hypocrisy," Yelper Russell H of McKinney, Texas, wrote on Saturday morning in a one-star review.

“This is a chain, so what does the corporation think of this operator?”
No, it’s not a chain restaurant. You may be thinking of Red Robin. We have a Red Hen Restaurant here in Napa, CA and it’s a one off too.
The photos being uploaded on Yelp are crazy!
Most are supporting Sanders.
We need to take the damned white gloves off and fight fire with fire!
We can no longer sit quietly by and "just take it". No, I'm NOT calling for us to fight them, physically ( well, not just yet ), but there ARE some things that we can and MUST do!
My beloved mother was a "white glove GOPer", who was mortified, when I said that we needed to fight back; to take the damned white gloves off and take a stand against the filthy, stinking COMMIES and this was in the 1960s. I was told that "No, we don't do that"; however, I did and others ( especially the parents of the brain dead hippies and wannabes and those who joined SDS, etc. could have and should have stopped this back then! We're in this mess, today, because they didn't.
Here’s on review comment somebody left - LOL
“I heard the place had great food but no I.C.E.”
It’s NOT a chain...........
I love the idea of enjoying most of your meal (and drinks), but you should save the hat for the end. I’d start with stopping the server and letting them know that Sarah Sanders was right, this really is some great food; you’re really glad that you ignored all those awful reviews and instead listened to someone who ate there.
Then break out the hat.
I was NOT bashing my mother ( she made me a news & political "junkie" fro a very early age and taught me a LOT about politics and history! ), who was THE best political debater, bar none ( and that includes William F. Buckley !), I have EVER heard. She, along with everyone else in my family, hated, loathed, and reviled stinking Commies; she was just from a different generation and believed in being polite, having good manners, and doing things by the book. It's just that that idea was wrong and outdated; the late '60s and onward proves that.
I already said it wasn’t.
For a couple of weeks lefties will be lining up around the corner to eat there. It will be on all the news. The owner will be crowing about how standing for one’s principles can actually be good for business and how proud she is of the stand she took. Then they’ll evaporate, moving on to the next outrage du jour, and this place will be left sitting in their rural area that went for Trump in large numbers wondering what they can do to get anyone to come back in. Then she’ll begin firing her staff, the staff that notified her of their concern that Sarah Hackabee Sanders eating there. Then she’ll shut the doors for good.
Some years ago President Obama came to my previous hometown deep in red territory. He stopped for lunch at a local restaurant. The owner is a rock-ribbed conservative. But he made sure Obama and his entourage were as well fed and serviced as any other customer, without exception.
He may have despised Obama as a person but the office itself is something else.
If I go eat there, finish my dinner, then hold up a MAGA sign and they kick me out do I have to pay?
Outstanding!
Did the Obama group pay for the meal and leave a generous tip?
Sorry didn’t see that............
That’s probably about right.
Your father hated the man, but loved the Office of the Presidency, IMO
