Numb to Outrage, Republican Voters Feel a Deepening Bond to Trump

LEESBURG, Va. — Gina Anders knows the feeling well by now. President Trump says or does something that triggers a spasm of outrage. She doesn’t necessarily agree with how he handled the situation. She gets why people are upset.

But Ms. Anders, 46, a Republican from suburban Loudoun County, Va., with a law degree, a business career, and not a stitch of “Make America Great Again” gear in her wardrobe, is moved to defend him anyway.

“All nuance and all complexity — and these are complex issues — are completely lost,” she said, describing “overblown” reactions from the president’s critics, some of whom equated the Trump administration’s policy of separating migrant children and parents to history’s greatest atrocities.

“It makes me angry at them, which causes me to want to defend him to them more,” Ms. Anders said.

Trump is the answer to our outrage with liberalism.

Remember, if you’re not outraged, it means you’re
not paying attention!

Larry Sabato and Charlie Cook are full of crap.

Yet, they will still claim that “no one predicted that the Republicans would keep the House.”

Let’s not go tripping over into Fantasy Land here. But there is still a very good chance that the Republicans will hold both the House and Senate, because the Democrats offer only a very limited agenda -

1. Impeach Trump.
2. Stop all efforts to control the southern border.
3. Rescind all the recent tax reductions, and raise taxes specifically on “the rich”.
4. Reintroduce all the regulations abolished by Trump.

And oh, yeah,

5. Outlaw any conservative agenda or political action altogether.

I say the GOP picks up 65 House and 12 senate seats. 2019-2025 will be the Golden Age of America.

Agreed.

The Dems and their propaganda machine have gone beyond the tipping point.

They don’t know it, which is fine with me.

They can get their follows enraged on any given issue but to keep them enraged on a series of issues is a different challenge all together.

Nobody wants to stay in a state of constant rage.

Nobody.

They will look for solutions, answers and a greater understanding of the issues.

I never would have believed that Donald Trump could have set these Leftist’s heads on fire to such an extent that they would start to question their Gods of knowledge.

I love winning.

I think a pickup of 9 senate seats(and a supermajority) is quite possible.

I actually think we will pull off the keeps in Nevada and Arizona.

“Their resilience suggests a level of unity among Republicans that could help mitigate Mr. Trump’s low overall approval ratings and aid his party’s chances of keeping control of the House of Representatives in November.”

At a certain point I guess you have to feel a bit sorry for these mutts. Either they know this is insane bull shit and HAVE to write it anyway or worse they actually believe it which means they are lost for good.

Low ratings? Larry Sabato king leftist jerk: “You have to add ten points to any approval number for Trump.”

“Aid his party’s chance of keeping control of the House of Representatives in November” The idea of a “blue wave” is long gone and the undeserving Republicans will pick up 8 to 10 seats in the House and 11 in the Senate.

President Trump says or does something that triggers a spasm of outrage.

Outrage? We've had a man, a Bernie Sanders supporter, try to assassinate GOP Congressmen. we've had so-called celebrities hurling insults at President Trump on a daily basis, including verbal attacks on his children and his wife the First Lady. I've never seen anything like it. The outrage from the left is beyond anger, it is derangement.

My question is, “Just how FAR gone is the media regarding the man in the White House?”
My opinion: TRUMP EMOTIONALLY ANNOUNCE THE FINDING OF AN INJECTABLE CURE FOR CANCER.
MEDIA REACTION: Trump smiles....Thousands to lose jobs...Hospitals to close around country. Big PHARMA strikes it RICH!!!”

I have no sympathy. They have big media and the courts on their side. We meekly respond when they kick us out simply because they know our views, while they sue us into bankruptcy for not actively promoting their views against our deepest religious convictions. Sympathy for such a one-sided juggernaut as that? Never.

It’s not even new. Remember when Sandra Bernhard called for her “black brothers” to hang-rape Sarah Palin if she showed her face in NYC? How could we not be numb to their outrage, we’ve been hearing it for years. President Trump’s decapitated head? A movie about the assassination of President Bush?

I still laugh at the media for trying to pin Enron on George W just because he knew Ken Lay.

Their hysterics and fake news outrage was hilarious then... and it’s hilarious now.

I’m not exactly numb to outrage. They are mosquitoes, nuisances.
1. I wear mosquito repellent.
2. Sometimes, I wear a mosquito net.
3. I find their outrage patently feigned.
4. I find their ennui pathetically amusing.

“Numb to outrage”???

I know that they didn’t mean THIS outrage, but yes, I’m numb to the left’s outrage.
