I’m reading anything from this pompous @ss. He writes this crap the day after his friend Charles K dies too.
Hey Will...go keep company with McCain. You two belong with each other.
Man, this db has really outted himself, has he not? He & Crystal should just get a room.
I have never understood why some people were so ga-ga over George Will.
I never found him to be particularly interesting or relevant, and more often than not, found him crushingly boring, especially when he began bringing baseball into it.
“Amid the carnage of Republican misrule in Washington, there is this glimmer of good news: The family-shredding policy along the southern border, the most telegenic recent example of misrule, clarified something.”
I think I will need the vomit bucket after all.
Dementia is such a sad disease.
I’m casting my votes against Democrats.
I still say one of the best things that's happened, as a result of Trump winning the presidency, is that he's forced all of the fakes and phonies out of the woodwork.
He's pull back the veil from the disingenuous, duplicitous democRATS disguised as conservatives to expose their true values.
No longer George Will, but George Wasn't.
No, he went off the reservation quite some time ago and didn't stop at just RINO, or globalist plutocrat. He may still claim that he's not a demoncrap, but he is. He's gone full libtard.
Note to George: Too late, doofus...
George Will: BFF id “genius” Krauthammer. Oy!
Did I miss George’s column excoriating the Republicans for not exerting the 1 powers over the 2 powers when Obama held the 2 power?
If I understand this correctly Will is saying that; if Republicans won’t stand up to a Dem prez its because they are principled and gentlemanly but if Republicans won’t defy and overule a Republican president it is because they are constitutional wimps of low character and principals.
Executive power has indeed gotten out of control but it was Democrats who encouraged it. Ironically it is the vulgarian Trump who is gradually rolling back executive power and attempting to restore constitutional order.
I cannot express enough disgust to describe Will.
Will donate to the NRCC and NRSC later today.

Why not just donate DIRECTLY to true conservative/MAGA Patriot candidates?
Open Borders twin Georges: Will and Soros
OK to vote against the GOP, as long as you are voting against the GOPe
In this particular election I think we have to put aside any intraparty differences. If the Dems get the House they’ll impeach Trump and we’ll never hear the end of it. The Republicans won’t do that no matter who they are.
George Will doesn’t think he hates and reacts par for a liberal.
Georgie Porgy is an interloper in the human race...
I’m not necessarily opposed to voting against the GOP, because nothing can get better until the GOP is finally destroyed.
However, in our system, this means the Democrats get back into power, which would be very bad.
I’m keeping an open mind and have not decided what to do yet.
I read the article. Will makes a good case about Congress reclaiming its powers but then becomes completely unhinged as to why they will not.
“Corker’s measure would have required Congress to vote to approve any trade restrictions imposed in the name of “national security.” All Senate Republicans worthy of the conservative label that all Senate Republicans flaunt would privately admit this is conducive to sound governance and true to the Constitution’s structure. But the Senate would not vote on it would not allow it to become just the second amendment voted on this year.”
Will is correct, Congress should reclaim the power to regulate trade that it gave up over 50 years ago.
“This is because the amendment would have peeved the easily peeved president. The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of Republican control.”
Will is also correct about this.
But after a long crybaby diatribe he concludes with this:
“In today’s GOP, which is the president’s plaything, he is the mainstream. So, to vote against his party’s cowering congressional caucuses is to affirm the nation’s honor while quarantining him.”
He correctly diagnosis the problem but then blames the GOP’s fear of Trump as the reason for the lack of a resolution. But this is the nature of the GOP Congress since at least Reagan. Will is blinded from his Onastic Trump hatred.
