LOS ANGELES — Judge Dolly M. Gee has called the treatment of immigrant children in detention “deplorable” in a legal opinion. She has castigated the federal government for “fear mongering” when it argued that the detention of migrant families at the border was a necessary deterrent.
And that was during the Obama administration.

The Trump administration, in issuing the executive order, is expected to ask the federal courts to alter a 1997 consent decree known as the Flores settlement that limits the detention of migrant families to no more than 20 days.
Right now we have the lawful authority to detain a family unit together for up to 20 days,” Gene Hamilton, an adviser to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, told reporters in Washington on Wednesday. “What we are seeking with Judge Gee is a modification of that so we can detain beyond 20 days the entire family unit together.”

The US cant keep minors detained with their families who they got caught sneaking in with.
So where are the minors supposed to go?
In fact how could a judge even have it enforced?

Thank God we have in inferior court created by Congress to over rule the Executive Branch of Government, even though the Executive Branch is supposed to be a Separate but Equal branch of Government, on par with Congress and the Supreme Court!

There are after all 2.7 million American Kids who have parents in jail.
20000 more American Kids end up in orphanages because their parents commit crimes every year.
It is inhumane on the part of the parent to commit the crime harming to victims instead of just one.
But to let them go free would create Anarchy not only on the border but throughout the United States.
It’s pretty clear there has to be a way to deny entrance to asylum seekers at the border. Otherwise, the remaining 46 million population of Central America will potentially show up and completely saturate the system.

The most sensible course would be to eliminate asylum all together. The United States should not provide asylum as a matter of standard policy. Period.

The “asylum” seekers are not Mexican, they’re Central Americans. If they are truly seeking asylum, why aren’t they applying for it when they reach Mexico??? Why travel another couple thousand miles to get to here?

This whole idea of Consent Decrees seems unconstitional to me.
I live in Maryland and early 2017 Obama and Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake (infamous for her Freddie Gray indictments and resulting humiliating losses in criminal court) rushed into a Consent Decree to tie Baltimore police hands in handling criminals.
Months later under Sessions the justice department goes to court to revisit it and is told by the judge that it cant be revised, Obama’s Decree cant be modified or cancelled.
No law was passed by congress just an agreement between two Dem libs(progressives) enforced by the court and it cant be changed, like a Maryland or Federal law was passed.
If the judge insists on the 20 day rule on day 19 those kids should be loaded onto military planes and returned to their home country. They can wait there for their parents whose deportation should be expedited so we don’t separate families

Border “abuses” is all the screaming we will be hearing about for the next many months. The Commies are desparate to rid this nation of #45 (”Impeach 45and will take any and all action to accomplish this removal task. IT very well might be the start of the “hot” CW II scenario. INMO it is now progressives vs conservative with the elites just sitting idly by.
