If you want to continue down the road, then yes maam. We need to know what citizen what country youre a citizen of, an agent said Wednesday evening to two BDN reporters who went through the checkpoint. When questioned about what would happen if a driver declined to answer, he said the car would only be able to keep going if, after further questioning and upon the agents judgment, the agent is pretty sure that youre U.S. citizens.

an agent on Wednesday described the Howland stop as a random checkpoint to see what we can catch. Can you say "fishing expedition"?
I was stopped at one of these "random" checks on the CA/AZ border and was held there for better than half an hour with my mother while they did a "drug search" with a dog. Funny thing, not even a cigarette had ever been smoked in the car, but the dog "triggered" on it. Yeah, right...

“A checkpoint set up by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents Wednesday on Interstate 95 led to the arrest of a fugitive Haitian immigrant who previously was ordered to be deported.
What a shame. Now round up 100,000 of his buddies and ship them home too.

Anyone in this country should live in fear of being identified and jailed, or deported . If it takes check points, I’m ok with that.

There was a time on FR when this would have been the first thing posted on a thread about check points.

It’s easy for the dogs to pick up on that :pThey are actually tainted at the FED itself before they are released to the public when they are running through counting machines. Residue from previous bills run though the machinery taint those that follow. If one didn't know better one might think this were done purposefully.

There was a time on FR when this would have been the first thing posted on a thread about check points.Yup. People have been conditioned to accept this illegal intrusion because the government has failed in its duty to police our borders. It has gotten to the point where even "conservatives" don't see it.
The government already knows where most of these illegals are. The IRS alone has enough information to allow us to round up millions of them, and thus trigger millions more to self-deport. However, we are instead asked to accept the trappings of a police state because it conditions people to accept the power the state holds over them.

As long as we are suspending the 4th amendment set it up on I985 between Suwannee and Gainesville GA. You will catch your limit in about 10 minutes and a lot of drugs as a bonus.
