(CNSNews.com) - "Let's do the right thing," President Trump told a gathering in Washington on Tuesday. He was speaking about legislation to stop unchecked illegal immigration.
But Democrats on Tuesday flatly refused to support legislation, saying it's unnecessary when President Trump could simply adopt a different "policy." Trump indicated that he may adopt a new policy -- one that denies financial aid to countries that send their people fleeing north.

"We have a chance. We want to solve this problem, we want to solve family separation, I don't want children taken away from parents," Trump said.
And when you prosecute the parents for coming in illegally, which should happen, you have to take the children away. Now we don't have to prosecute them, but then we're not prosecuting them for coming in illegally. That's not good.
We want to end the border crisis by finally giving us the legal authorities and the resources to detain and remove illegal immigrant families altogether and bring them back to their country. We have to bring them back to their country.
Now think of all that aid that we give some of these countries, hundreds of millions of dollars we give to some of these countries, and they send them up.
Well I'm going to go, very shortly, for authorization that when countries abuse us by sending their people up, not their best, we're not going to give anymore aid to those countries. Why the hell should we? Why should we?..."Click on he link at top left to read the whole article.

Nobody bothers asking why so many people want to leave the countries they are leaving in the first place. The governments of Mexico and South/Central American countries are never taken to task for how corrupt they are.

Why do we give them any of our resources in the first place?
For one thing, it puts President Trump in charge of the narrative. President Trump is at his best when he keeps pushing forward before the media can build up steam on the latest "outrage". This friggin' children thing has gone on too long, and if President Trump had advanced another "outrage" the barking dogs would have dropped their current bone and chased after the next one.
I prefer the Rick Perry Plan. Stop ALL foreign aid, then reinstate those that earn it.
What I’d love to see employed is Rush’s “Sh*t List,” wherein, any country that votes against us in the UN (which I’d also love to kick out of the US) get on our list and it would take 5 years of “behaving like a friend” to get off the list!

Perhaps someone can explain this to me ... in all the talks about unfair trade and jobs being stolen, why has there been no mention of India. India has the highest tariffs on us of any country. They are the recipient of the greatest transfer of jobs of ANY nation via outsourcing. But no actions to fix any of it. Why?
