More than 600 members of the United Methodist Church signed on to a letter Monday condemning Attorney General Jeff Sessions for the Trump administration's policy of separating migrant parents and children at the U.S. border.
In the letter, the group of churchgoers, including clergy and church leadership, accuse Sessions of child abuse, immorality, racial discrimination and dissemination of doctrines contrary to the standards of the doctrine of the United Methodist Church.
They note in the letter that Sessions is a member of Ashland Place United Methodist Church, in Mobile, Ala.

The hill has been on a tear over this and anything anti Trump lately. They used to at least have the occasional honest piece, but now have gone full propaganda mode.

The United Methodist Church has strayed so far from the Bible it has become more of a “current culture” cult than a Biblically based church. If Sessions follows Jesus Christ, he needs to change churches, preferably to an evangelical church.
In truth, Trump is only complying with and enforcing the law, which is his constitutional duty and responsibility.
When the media claim Trump has a “choice,” what they mean is he has a choice to ignore the law as Obama did when he illegally released untold numbers of illegals into America.
Trump’s “zero tolerance policy” is merely his administration treating all lawbreakers as lawbreakers, because the only other option is to let them loose into America with nothing but a court summons.
Trump’s Only Choice Is to Separate Illegal Alien Families When an illegal alien crosses the border into the U.S., he is a lawbreaker, and, like any lawbreaker (including American citizens), he is put into the criminal justice system.
This is the law.

At least they didn’t accuse him of contributing to Global Warming. But maybe that will come later.
Sessions should just tell them to stick it and then tithe to the Salvation Army.

Exactly, a typical UMC sermon is little different from a modern psycho-therapy session.
Why are people so stupid? The illegal alien parents own 100 % of the blame.
1) Do you agree that people who immigrate to the US illegally should be detained for a due-process hearing then deported?
2) If so, can you identify a single jail in the entire world where children are housed with adult criminals?
3) The vast majority (something like 80%) of the children in the camps were not accompanied by their adults. The family separation happened before the US ever got involved.
4) Do you realize that most of the photos are from the Obama administration? Are you willing to criticize him with same fervor you have for Trump?
I knew the fake churches would be weighing in....
Sessions has had the same stance on immigration for years and years. I don’t remember them making such a protest years ago. Do they express the same outrage when an adult is arrested with a child and the child is separated?
