CNN and MSNBC buried the inspector general report’s revelation that a number of FBI agents were receiving unauthorized free handouts, such as dinners and tickets, from reporters.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz noted in his report on the Clinton investigation, which was released Thursday, that his department found numerous instances in which FBI agents were improperly in contact with reporters and were receiving a number of free perks from their relationships. The department “identified numerous FBI employees, at all levels of the organization and with no official reason to be in contact with the media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact with reporters.”
FBI agents’ relationships with the media extended to “improperly receiving benefits from reporters, including tickets to sporting events, golfing outings, drinks and meals, and admittance to nonpublic social events” and could have encouraged some agents to leak information to the press, Horowitz implied in the report.

Since the FBI agents should have reported the ‘gifts’ (bribes) as income, could a Joe Q. conservative law group file a whistle blower lawsuit. As part of it, ask for names of EVERY reporter who gave bribes and every FBI agent who took the bribes.

I go to meetings with Federal employees all the time. Honest federal workers will not even let you pick up the check for dinner, even if you are friends. It’s a basic rule.
I guess the rules are different for deputy assistant directors.
The IG report identified more than one hundred individuals who took the bribes. While some were senior officials many were much further down the food chain. This is shown in the charts in the Appendices of the report.

I’ve noticed all of the sudden all over the net and on the news shows it is all “TRUMP IS FORCING IMMIGRANT PARENTS TO SEPERATE FROM THIER CHILDREN” All the time in an attempt to distract the public away from the fact that Obama’s FBI definitely tried to sway the election away from President Trump to help Hillary win.
And why isn’t the IRS looking into the lack of income reporting by these agents?

What do you expect, one Democratic Party tool, protecting the other. Like the 2 arms of a fighter, one jabs and the other throws the knock out blow. Kind of like the Mueller investigation. Except Trump never even went to the gym.
