Yet schooling and retirement explain only part of what has occurred. Consider prime-age men, those from the ages of 25 to 54. These men are generally well past their schooling and well before their retirement. Yet this group has also been exiting the labor force.

In 1950, only 4 percent of prime-age men were not working or looking for work. Today, that figure is 11 percent.

Ignoring all the sexist comments, I’ll focus on the communist welfare state as the reason for declining useful men. We keep telling everyone they should get more money for less work. And why work when you can freeload and get a few bucks that are enough for you to be comfortable in your poverty?

My answer:

Video games and the related effect of kids never leaving their parents’ basements.

Also gayness - no need for both ‘men’ to work, in most cases, as they are usually well-educated (at least one of them), and their only major expense is make up.

I’ve gone to college orientations with my kids, and I’ve noticed at least 70% of the incoming freshmen are female.

I work 50 hours a week, all on my feet, not a chair in the shop, other than the commode. But then again, Iget paid to go shooting twice a month. I’m 52, and have no trouble falling asleep at night, lol.

I’m just saying: When they tell you that your hope for advancement is zero because they want diversity, you stop trying to advance. Instead its a good time to get out.

When they say that everything you say at work or anything you say on line is in appropriate and can be cause for dismissal you start thinking about getting out.

When they start giving you training after training that says your the cause of all evil and everything you know to be true is not. Its time to leave.

When Ann Rand’s question about Where is John Gault sounds less like fiction and more like a reasonable choice. Its time to get out.

We have 0.95 available workers for every open job. What do they want?

"Why Aren’t More Men Working?"

Because misogamists don't want more men to work. Look up the word, misogamy.

What about women, ever meet a 58 year old getting welfare, and not having ever worked and having lived with her parents all of her life? And she thinks she is God’s gift to the universe just like her father who has been on psychological disability for 50 years! This government is out of control!

In 68 years it has changed from 4 to 11%. While it’s going the wrong direction, that’s hardly worth a headline like this.

They are being harassed and kicked out of good paying jobs by women. Every blue collar white male I know has two jobs, both barely over minimum wage.
Plus the more they make, the more is taken in child support for children they haven’t been allowed to spend two hours with in years.
There are zero jobs above minimum wage in my town for blue collars. hundreds of people were laid off or lost their jobs in our small town. More on the way.
I’m giving it six months, then we will have to move.

Because the left knows how to destroy masculinity - put men out of work and thereby slice their balls off.

Discrimination in colleges. Proven.

Discrimination in job applications. Proven.

I am semi-retired at age 55 plus. I am looking for a new business to get into but with health issues and the fact we worked hard to pay off all real estate loans and large purchases early on I have no need to get a job for the sake of a paycheck. Wife decided to go back to work because she was bored and decided to help our daughter with shcool loans and a car. I've found a new business I will likely get into but it will not be a full blown business with employees and such. I am just tired of all the crap one has to go through satisfying the demands of the Federal, State and local governments put on a business with employees and a store frint etc.

But as such I am counted as "not in the workforce" it is my way of "going Galt" I am done working hard to feed the leaches.

They live in cities where the jobs have not yet come and are either retired or incompetent, unemployable. There is no hope for them unless they migrate out of the welfare laden cities.

Why work when you can brow beat your female slave?
