At the link is text of an interview on the subject with ARI SHAPIRO, HOST and David Welna. And text of soudbites from an UNIDENTIFIED PERSON, THOM TILLIS, JEANNE SHAHEEN, MIKE POMPEO, WESS MITCHELL, THOMAS GOFFUS, NILSU GOREN, JAMES LANKFORD and JAMES JEFFREY.
I'm no fan of NPR, but this seems pretty accurate.
A large number of congressmen have drafted a letter concerning denial of delivery of the F35's to Turkey.

For starters, turkeys really can’t fly very well.

” because Turkish pilots have yet to begin their training at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona to fly it.”
Turks, loyal to Erdogan and the caliphate, flying over American skies...in an F-35 armed with weapons. If a new 9/11 hits, we deserve it.

They can. Just not very well. We get a lot of them on our property. They mainly fly short distances and to get into trees.

Never thought of this before, but how do we deliver fighter jets to other countries?
Disassembled in boxes?
On a big flat barge like an aircraft carrier?
We don’t fly them over, right?

“As god is my witness I thought turkeys could fly.”
Actually. the wild one’s do. We have them in our neighborhood and when the dog chases them, they will fly. (today’s chuckle)

Seriously, if Russia attacks Turkey from the rear, will greece help?

Turkey is turning to radical islam and is or soon will be no friend of western democratic civilizations. We must design our foreign policy without them.....sooner the better...they are not a dependable, trustworthy member of NATO

What are those turkeys doing in NATO in the first place?

They are evidently bought in the US, their pilots are trained to fly them here and they fly them home.
