The impromptu interview came a day after the release of the scathing report by DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, which found fired FBI Director Comey was insubordinate and criticized his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
You just know CNN reporters were standing just off camera fuming as Trump was allowed to speak his mind without the barnyard hens clucking at him and trying to shout him down.
I watched it. He was on top of his game, totally comfortable in the job, and obviously in command of the full range of issues. He’s on a roll, and it’s no wonder liberals hate him. They appear headed for a trouncing this fall.

Wow, the highest rated (by far) morning show, @foxandfriends, is on the Front Lawn of the White House. Maybe I’ll have to take an unannounced trip down to see them?

It was just great! I loved that Peter Doocy was so involved also--leading the president to where his dad was and then afterwards standing next to POTUS, holding the microphone. It would be fun to listen to both Doocys talking about their morning!
I am sure the Secret Service was sweating! (literally and figuratively)
Steve Doocy's son walked the whole way with President Trump and slid him over to dad for the [extended] interview! Again, as the other reporters jaws dropped! Hehehehe!
I don’t understand the comments about Secret Service concern. Everyone on the grounds has been cleared and a Fox news crew is hardly hostile territory.
AMERICA! Compare this impromptu open interview with ANY of the scripted BO / HRC interviews. WAKE UP!

Well shoot, the interview cut off right at the point when it was getting interesting. Need to find a link to the whole 51 minutes.

What a tour de force.
There was Trump on the White House grounds being interviewed for half an hour by Fox and Friends. Off to the left but on camera, was the gathering hoard that assembled once it was realized the President was present. The Secret Service cordon kept them in check. The message was given: You are to be seen but not heard. It was a funny visual of pure presstitute segregation and discrimination. I would guess there were lots of pissed off producers
And then just before concluding, Peter Duecy showed up on Camera. It was as if he was visually hosting an ad hoc news conference when the President allowed the hoard to ask questions. The President chided a woman...”you just ask the same question over and over” He acidly dismissed the CNN reporter. He destroyed the New York Times. He was having a field day . Peter Duecy was the only reporter in the video. It was just funny

I think that the Secret Service loves this kind of thing.

They aren’t blind. The man is earnest in his attempt to save this country, and 45 has a full set, plus an extra one.
They’ve trained on this, to the point where they know he’s going to do this sort of thing, and they are ready, because they are the best in the world at what they do.
Afterward, they probably just said, “F*ck, yeah. All day. Everyday. Do it again tomorrow. We’ve got you always.”

Of course CNN and MSNBC were not showing it. They do not show actual live news. They provide their slant on news, even while it is happening.
This morning was fabulous.
