I called the Mark Levin show. The call screener politely said, "What's on your mind?
I was upset that Mark was calling the tickets to sporting events and shows "gifts" which were given to the leakers. IMHO, they were bribes.
The screener said that unless Sessions or Trump enables a special prosecutor, and there is an indictment and conviction, there is no crime, so it is a gift.
Then I presented my theory that Trump is the classic good cop, and Sessions is giving him cover for doing nothing by being the bad cop. We are being played.
The screener politely said that we cannot deal in unprovable theories. He said "we know these people, and they are good Americans and want to do what is right". Then he hung up.
Yeah. Sleeping pills.
He's recused. He said he would recuse at his confirmation hearing, and then he recused in an official memo.
He said he was recusing on all matters in anyway connected to the elections and Hillary.
Are you not aware of this?
But does that mean he has recused himself from all FBI matters? Does anyone have any control over the FBI?
I think that is kind of a caricature. Sessions has an old fashioned sense of law and order. Similarly, Trump has a deep respect for the Constitution and rule of law. The notion that either are going to take shortcuts or endorse show trials is ludicrous. But it is also the propaganda of the left, that anyone who opposes them is a Nazi-like authoritarian.
Meh. Learn to write clearly.
You truly need help, whether you are willing to admit it or not; you have some kind of severe problem.
So you "TRUST SESSIONS"; is the sky green and the grass purple where you live?
I will, if you will promise to learn to comment clearly.
At the upcoming Trump rally, people need to start a “Fire Sessions” chant.
As many others have stated, you don’t seem to know what good cop bad cop means.
Sessions has an old fashioned sense of law and order.
Really?
Does one with an old-fashioned sense of law and order:
Recuse oneself based upon a questionable and trivial issue - and spuriously based upon the wrong statutory law - then refuse to require his Deputy Attorney General to also recuse himself for multiple serious conflicts of interest?
Refuse to acknowledge and honor the inescapable Constitutionality of Congressional oversight upon the Department of Justice?
Voluntarily and gratuitously eulogize the prosecutors in the Cliven Bundy case, whose conduct was so egregiously unlawful that the Obama appointee threw the case out with prejudice?
Willingly stand by as the Constitutional rights of American citizens are violated by an out-of-control special counsel who himself has multiple, serious conflicts of interest?
Spare me.
I do not care how many Dimensions of Chess are being played - nor if Trump is in on it. Regardless of motivation, Sessions has violated his Oath to uphold the Constitution - PERIOD!
Try selling that pablum to Flynn, Caputo, Manafort, Cohen, and all the rest who have had their lives damaged, if not ruined.
At best, Sessions has an old-fashioned sense of being blindly loyal to his elite club. At worst, Sessions is utterly corrupted by cupidity or thoroughly compromised by indiscretion.
In between those extremes, he may simply have had himself and his family threatened with violence. Anyone who thinks these players are reluctant to do such things needs to peruse the very long list of prematurely deceased associates of the Clintons.
I will be forever sorry I have offended the good cop, bad cop police. What can I do to make restitution?
Do you not see why this thread was started?
That's simply a red herring, and I don't care how many times anyone repeats it. Sessions is a simple law and order man, not some magician. Nor is there any magician who would do much better. If they tried, that person would find themselves on defense very quickly while perps like McCabe and Strzok would be exonerated by numerous leftist or deep state judges.
Try selling that pablum to Flynn, Caputo, Manafort, Cohen, and all the rest who have had their lives damaged, if not ruined.
Well yes, that does suck for them. But Manafort, Gates, and Podesta and everyone else who lobbied for foreign governments, took undeclated income from it and didn't register, get zero sympathy from me. Papadop is an idiot and deserves the slap on the wrist he has coming (they gave hin a hot Italian wife for consolation). Cohen is being targeted unfairly IMO, but I don't know much about the case against him. Flynn is the poster child of deep state retribution and unfair charges based on tainted evidence. He will be pardoned. Don't know much about Caputo.
If you expect Sessions to stop the prosecutions of those individuals you have massively exceeded what is reasonable to expect. He is standing by, but his standing by has little consequence other than Mueller digging a deeper political hole. Noibody in the American electorate which is all that matters thinks Mueller is pursuing a just cause except for the minority of Trump haters. I suggest you get out more away from the political forums and you will see I am correct.
