I strongly suspect both Strzok and Page have been "cooperating witnesses" for some time, and have made multiple appearances before Huber's grand jury. And I suspect they're not the only ones. Time will tell...

The Deep State had committed MULTIPLE FELONIES INCLUDING TREASON and they were AFRAID TEAM TRUMP WOULD PROSECUTE THEM FOR THEIR CRIMES so they sought to prevent him from getting elected.
I have yet to have seen any evidence that these two were lovers.
Finally, a genuine bombshell. Now we just need Comey and McCabe saying the same.
Firing, loss of pension, blacklisted on any Federal job, and hard time is the least of what should happen to them.
But I fear they’ll only get the Lois Lerner variety slap on the wrist.
Is Strzok really an “underling” he is not a Director, but Cheif of Counterintelligence does not sound insignificant to me. That is a relatively big fish if he is indicted for conspiring to commit election fraud. No, he is not the Director, but Chief Counterintelligence sounds pretty high on the FBI org chart.
I get your point about scapegoating him to protect Comey/McCabe, but often the higher ups set up systems to give themselves plausible deniability so prosecutions stop with lower ranked conspirators. That is just how organizations are usually set up.
The bigger problem is the inability to find anyone in the deep state to prosecute Comey and McCabe. Both lied to Congress and FBI staff so the crimes are already there to prosecute. The bigger problem is that lower staff without clout get prosecuted while the top brass gets away with murder and are treated as if they are above the law. It is just how the game is played.
Sessions is just not going to prosecute anybody that high.
One has been fired, and one has been reassigned. Why wasn't the second fired? Think cooperating witness. Don't forget that the US Attorney for Utah is tasked with criminal charges stemming from the IG report, and prosecutions will require cooperative witness testimony.

I would assume that at the 2:30 press conference Sarah Sanders is going to state that Trump is now demanding the DOJ to release ALL of the information being withheld from Congress and to revoke Mueller’s mandate for conducting an investigation based on a fraudulent premise.
