Trump called out Trudeau's hypocrisy and now the two nations are on a brink of an all-out trade war. Trudeau only has votes to gain, risking the entire Canadian economy to get them; meantime, Trump could start to patriate the entire auto sector, securing mega votes in Michigan once again.
Why are Cuckservatives siding with Trudeau and is there any sane way to make Dairy Nationalism Great Again?
Isn’t one of Donald’s stories from his youth about walking into a room and watching Justin’s Mum get drilled at a Manhattan party?
There was an article yesterday that talks about how Trudeau has spent a fortune the last 18 months on lobbyists lobbying American lawmakers for policies favorable to Canada. It would be very interesting to see a list of the lawmakers targeted.
I can’ really say I know much about the argument the trade deal is unfair or not. I have some opinions but will keep them to myself out of respect that we are guests on a US site.
Trudeau is deciding to fight back because he was doing horribly in the polls. He knows Canadians will rally behind him. As for the conservative parties around Canada, they are playing it safe here. They want to be “on side” in any battle against Trump because Trump is a toxic name - like it or not - in Canada. All politics.
The courageous position would be for conservative parties to plead with Trudeau to stop the rhetoric and make a schedule of a number of meetings with Trump to work on trade. Better yet, Trudeau should remove himself from any discussions, and it should be the Trade Minister sitting down with US counterparts.
Yes, it takes a certain character to take a position you speak of. He still needs to be firm, but conciliatory at the same time with Trump.
Our economy is terrible, last month showing huge declines in employment in certain sectors.
You are right. That should happen but there will be a bit of a time lag to it. As long as the federal government doesn’t muck things up.

That would not be a surprise. Rocky Waterhole was 30 years older than Margaret. As a teenager growing up in d’Ottawa in the late ‘70s, the common rumour was that Turd-owe Sr. and Marc Lalonde were ‘bum buddies’, so the idea that Maggie was whoring around, was not a surprise. First, how would a 52 YO man satisfy a 22 YO woman, plus, he may well have ‘hit for the other team’.
In fact, it has often been suggested that Turd-owe married Maggie, the daughter of a former Liberal MP from BC, as a way to try and capture some Western votes. Think the Klintoon marriage. When I look at the messed up home life, I actually feel some pity for Justin. Not much, but a little.
