Trump had this video created and showed it to Kim Jong Un in the meeting. It is 4 minutes.
You really should see this:

Should have showed pictures of the remains of Hiroshima then Hiroshima as it looks today.
Trump produces, brings along and plays for Kim a commercial for Kim becoming a hero of his people and the world in a modern, prosperous, happy and cool NK.
Wow. Just wow. I hope America is finally done with career politicians.
According to whom?
What makes you think this was created by Trump or any of Trumps people
That is interesting. Trump does not forget friends, talent or hard working people.
He has been sourcing and cultivating relationships with the same for decades.
I dunno about that. Just a quick scan around the region: Singapore, where it’s hosted is one of the wealthiest and healthiest places on Earth, but they’ve had the same ruling party since independence. China itself is still ruled by the Communist Party with an iron fist, but there are hundreds of millions have moved from poverty to the middle class, with millions more becoming rich. East Asia in general seems to have a knack for marrying relatively free and highly-functioning economies with relatively authoritarian governments.
Absolutely awesome bit of film.
President Trump had this framed specifically to impact the Nork leader.
Based on President Trump’s performances to date I bet it worked exactly as planned.
“Nice, but of course the U.S. cannot promise such a miraculous change. As long as he remains a brutal dictator who rejects all of his peoples rights and as long as he tries to control the economy it wont come to fruition. I doubt he is just going to surrender himself to a capitalist revolution which would see him immediately deposed and killed by his many, many victims. Life can get better for N. Koreans but it will be limited as long as things continue as they always have.”
Which model do you think that fat Kimmy is going to follow? I’m betting on him picking Door #2. Those in the political leadership in Norklandia who don’t want to do this will either be shot, imprisoned or bought off - Kim is young, and wants to live a long life in which he is rich (through corruption, of course) and admired (and if he does liberalize things and make a better life for his country, it wouldn’t be entirely unwarranted).
That all being said, no amount of good that Kim ***may*** do for his country will wash away what he has done to murder, torture, imprison, starve, etc. his people, nor his acts of pure terror against those outside of his country. But if you want him to dispose of his nukes, he needs a hefty incentive...which is that he’ll be guaranteed safety against outside interference and have the opportunity to be a market-oriented country with all of the benefits that such implies. There’s no perfect justice, but I view this deal (as it has been presented so far) as about the best possible compromise that benefits the largest number of people. The status quo only benefits arms sellers and some diplomats, and I’m quite willing to put their interests off to the side to prevent US cities from ever being under serious threat of being nuked by Kim or whomever replaces him someday.
Happened to hear Rush this am speaking of his views
on last night's events.
Today Rush seemed to be on the same page of many.
A paternal picture shown, POTUS DJT and son, Kim.
'The ways of the world and how to make life better'.
I am here to teach; would you care to learn.
CBS 2 and ABC 7 showed them last night at a restaurant in Koreatown, it was amazing..many have family members in North Korea that they have NO idea what happened to them, very sad..I hope they get the answers ..Koreans are good folks..I think the majority of them voted for President Trump they were SO happy
None of those examples are as repressive as N. Korea and none of them have a monstrous cult of personality above all else (even money).
Most profound frames of the entire video, when the image of a dark nighttime North Korea from space illuminates and joins the rest of civilization to the sound of an industrial light switch coming on.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I believe Kim will have to loosen the chains that bind somewhat (as did China) to get the economy to move. The people have to feel THEY will have some sort of a stake in the future before they will create companies, business, and wealth. They don’t want to do it just for the benefit of the Chinese Communists and they don’t want to do it just for Kim Jong-Un either.
Scott Adams calls it the most persuasive video ever made. He just might be right.
As monstrous as he has been not necessarily will be. Keep in mind the guy is only 33 and he inherited the NoKo regime, he didn’t create it.
That was one of the cuts that got my attention as well.
There are few images of the recent past that highlight the futility and emptiness of totalitarianism as strongly as the iconic image from space of North and South Korea at night.
This video was indeed laid on heavily. But that is because it is in line with what the North Koreans are accustomed to seeing.
I think it is a fascinating approach to communication with a nation that is not just foreign, it is alien.
Hey V.K.
That’s good to hear. Everybody in business or governing has something to learn from our VSG POTUS.
This is both the highest form of psychology and diplomacy!
And now all the diplomacy textbooks must change. It’s about human communication, establishing trust, delivering a vivid image about where the person you are negotiating with wants to be. Somebody said it before me, it’s like “making the other guy aspire to go where he wants to go — or take his people and country.”
That’s a very noble way to lead the world. And I think Kim’s education in Switzerland and learning to love basketball awakened him to another world.
And maybe the last few years he’s been plotting just this sort of move to become Westernized and become part of the world community.
And when Trump became President Kim learned (from Dennis Rodman perhaps) that Trump was a man would be trusted.
Maybe what I’ve said is a bit of a fairy tale. A dictator needs to rule ruthlessly — and if enabling his country to leap out of its hermit ways into the world community is what he accomplishes, then he also deserves recognition from the Nobel and elsewhere.
Early this morning, I was going to search for this video. Of course, I forgot. Ecstatic to find it here, on Breaking News. MAGA! (I kept adding that to my Facebook posts this morning).
Scott Adams video and commentary are worth watching. Extremely well done, highest form of persuasion. You can bet the CIA knows more about Kims psychology than he knows himself, and it all went into the making of this video.
