He mentioned that South Korea and Japan will be helping North Korea as they develop their economy. He then went into getting our troops out of there and how expensive it was to conduct wargames with South Korea.

You got that right. There are those that imagine themselves foreign policy wonks that constantly note that foreign policy issues are ‘nuanced’, when in comes a direct and plain speaking guy like Trump that cuts through that pearl clutching, parlor garbage and gets results.
As the others have said, thanks to you and your father for your service. Hoping that today will mean that others in the future will not need to stand watch there.

That is what amazes me about both President Trump and President Reagan. I’m six years younger than Trump and have nowhere near that energy and stamina. I’d be falling asleep during the press conference and talking blather. Super human, indeed.
I just watched in r/t what might be the most important pc of the 21st century.
President Trump admitted he has been up for 25+ hours (as have I).
He has no filters and he has no agenda other than America First. He was extremely specific on how he and Kim will work and laid out a 5 point plan (I was sad he did not include the Pueblo but ankle-biters like you don’t know what I mean)
He made it a point to address the most anti-USA people in the room (like you). He was charming, engaging and honest. He even said “President Kim and I are from done but we are talking.”
So unless you WATCHED the presser in r/t I suggest you stfu (and I am ready to answer any questions you have).
I honestly believe this was up there with “Mr. Gorbachev - tear down this wall” but shallow people like you will never understand the historic moment.
If you are smart (doubtful) you will bookmark this feed and moment as Historic.
You and yours will simply continue to stumble through “life” as an exemplar of the democrat “Reblicathug.”

I liked Trump’s line to the foreign reporter whose question was along the same lines about getting nothing, and effectively legitimizing the Kim regime.
At the end of the question, after answering again how it cost nothing to talk, the reporter added a ‘Do you understand?’. Without missing a beat, Trump replied dismissively, “I understand it better than you do,” then moved on to another reporter....

First, and most importantly, thank you for your service.
I don’t mean to hijack this thread, it is after all about President Trump but I’ve wondered about the 10,000 artillery pieces the Norks are reputed to have on the boarder.
My questions are, how old is the hardware, how well and how often is it maintained, how old is the ammunition, how much training do the troops get and, how long would the weapons remain operational once hostilities commenced?
I’m just a civilian but my gut feeling is that the system will degrade pretty quickly, especially if the Nork gun crews have to deal with counter-measures on our part such as EMP attacks on the electrical power running the gun emplacements or counter-fire response from our side.
Let’s hope that, thanks to President Trump and his team that questions such as there have become moot.
Then the next yahoo, foreign journalist asks the same question like a jerk and pulls that crap.
Love how Trump dismissed him and Trump's previous answered emphasized even more what Trump said to him, "I understand it better than you do." What an idiots these arrogant reporters are.
I think the timing and content of concluded “Watch Live” YouTube videos can change with time, but if you go now to 13:20 into the video link under the headline at the top of this page, you can see the video that President Trump said he showed to Kim and his delegation during the summit.
He said they really enjoyed it.
The only thing that would have made it better was if he direct the, “You’re Fired”, cobra hand gesture at him.
