First, and most importantly, thank you for your service.
I don’t mean to hijack this thread, it is after all about President Trump but I’ve wondered about the 10,000 artillery pieces the Norks are reputed to have on the boarder.
My questions are, how old is the hardware, how well and how often is it maintained, how old is the ammunition, how much training do the troops get and, how long would the weapons remain operational once hostilities commenced?
I’m just a civilian but my gut feeling is that the system will degrade pretty quickly, especially if the Nork gun crews have to deal with counter-measures on our part such as EMP attacks on the electrical power running the gun emplacements or counter-fire response from our side.
Let’s hope that, thanks to President Trump and his team that questions such as there have become moot.
Operational details and readiness should never be discussed with civilians, or military personnel with no need to know.
